A previous news leak from NHK months ago seemed to hint that Snow Miku wrapped buses would appear in Singapore sometime this year, but was quickly removed. However, a more recent press release from the Hokkaido District Transport Bureau has confirmed that these buses will be appearing in Singapore starting October 3rd.

A total of 10 Citaro buses will be wrapped in a skin showing off Snow Miku 2015 on one side, and original art of Hatsune Miku by KEI on the other. The design will also implement graphics of the natural landscape and food of Hokkaido, Sapporo.

Bus lines: 2, 196, 111, 174, 186, 502, 107, 175, 36, 130 (buses run 10 times a day)

The buses will remain in operation until December 25th, 2014. If you’re a resident of Singapore, keep an eye out for them! Previously, Thailand featured the Snow Miku 2013 wrapped trains. So I wonder which other countries will be considered for decorating public transport with Miku-themed wraps?

EDIT: Now we have a photo of one of the buses, thanks to one of our article commenters. Thanks for sharing!

If you remember last year’s Sepang ver. Racing Miku, this year we have a somewhat similar design to support Good Smile Racing’s upcoming race in Thailand. Illustrated by Oguchi (official 2014 Racing Miku illustrator), this version of Racing Miku has been dubbed the “Thailand Cheer ver. Racing Miku”. It is unknown if goods are planned with this design, but it is a possibility.
