A recent update to the Good Smile Company site has provided some new information on the Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Halloween Ver. Along with new photos and details of accessories, we also now know the scheduled release and order dates.

EDIT: A photo review by Kahotan from Good Smile Company has also been released! Read more here: Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Halloween Ver. Review

The design itself is definitely not lacking in detail. Designed by Suoh, the figure uses his concept of a playfully devilish Miku in a dress that expresses hints of a jack-o’-lantern design. The hair, dress, fangs and wings are all quite detailed, and the orange eyeshadow was a nice touch.

For accessories, the nendoroid will include 3 different expressions. These include a standard smiling expression, a sneering expression, and a pumpkin head expression. Also included is some candy accessories and a jack-o’-lantern that can even be used as a head piece on petite nendoroids.

The nendoroid will first be available at Miku Expo in Los Angeles and New York on October 11th~12th and October 17th~18th, respectively. It will also be available at New York Comic Con from October 9th~14th. Sales at future events are also planned. The price for all events will be set at $45.

If you cannot make it to these events, Good Smile Company is also opening international orders starting on September 25th. The price from the online shop is set at 4200 Yen, including tax. However, this is not a preorder, as order payments will be processed the next business day. Orders are scheduled to ship starting on October 10th, but you should order as soon as possible if you hope to have yours arrive before October 31st, just in time for Halloween! An order end date is not mentioned, but will likely remain open as long as stock lasts.

Georgia × Hatsune Miku promotional illustration by Oguchi

It looks like Rohto’s Digi-Eye isn’t the only product that wants to have a little fun. Georgia Coffee (not to be confused with the state or country of Georgia), a Coca Cola owned company, has recently announced a collaborative promotion with Hatsune Miku as well, and promises the release of an Augmented Reality application, prizes and more.

As a trivia note, this makes the second time that the Coca Cola company has featured Hatsune Miku in a promotion, with the first one taking place in 2012 in collaboration with SEGA’s Project Diva Arcade.

A lot of information regarding the collaboration is yet to be released, and we won’t know more until September 16th. But here is what we know so far.

Augmented Reality Application

Much like Rohto’s own promotion, Georgia will also be releasing an AR app (via their own website) on September 16th that will feature the Koron Miku MMD model, for what is also presumed to be a sort of AR “live performance”. The model has been modified to better match the theme of Georgia Coffee, of course.

To make the application work, you must first purchase a can of Georgia Emerald Mountain Shifuku no Bitou (Blissfully Low Sugar) flavor coffee that has the neck topper (pictured above) attached to it, from select major convenience stores across Japan. The topper will function as the AR marker for the application.

Additionally, each topper has a unique serial code. Upon collecting and submitting 3 unique codes online, you are entered for a chance to win a “Limited Hatsune Miku Picture Record” (details currently unknown), of which only 1000 are available.

Free Daily Comics and Wallpapers

Through Georgia’s free app for iOS and Android (available internationally), it is possible to freely download and enjoy a series of mangas and mobile wallpapers, through a collaboration with Georgia and Miku-Pack. Simply navigate the menus by following the Miku-related images, and complete the survey when it pops up (answers are already pre-selected, so just press submit). Then enjoy!

Comics and Wallpapers available via Weekly Georgia app

Two new comics will be made available every day until September 12th, and a new high resolution (1280×1920) wallpaper will be added daily until September 19th. Additionally, two special illustrations drawn as app exclusives will be made available, with the first already released, and the second to be made available on September 20th. The currently released original art was created by iXima, a popular illustrator best known for being the official illustrator for Hatsune Miku V3.

Below is a preview of iXima’s illustration, along with one of the daily wallpapers. But be sure to grab the Weekly Georgia app to download the full resolution images, and keep up with daily updates!
