A promotional video has been released for the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MEGA39’s detailing its release date and the long hinted new game mode. Packing with 10 years of SEGA feat. HATSUNE MIKU Project history, the game will be released in Japan on February 13th, 2020, as well as a western release to follow shortly in 2020 under the title Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix.

In addition to the 101 songs and 300 modules to choose from, there’s a new game mode “Mix Mode” (left) unique to Nintendo Switch as a new way to enjoy the game using the joy-cons. A third new song “Dreamin Chuchu” (right) by emon has also been revealed in addition to the previously confirmed “Alien Alien” by Nayutan Alien and “39 Music!” by MikitoP.

Sega will also be launching a 10th anniversary collection of the game featuring the additions of special box illustrated by KEI, CD collection of 5 discs, and SONOCA card for the theme song “Catch the Wave” by kz. Early purchases in Japan will come with a 4-songs theme song pack DLC with songs such as “The secret garden” and “Yume Yume“.

Another reveal by Sega yet is the module design for kz‘s “Catch the Wave” by the artist LAM.
