You can definitely tell it’s almost Spring, at least where I’m from. The weather has been much warmer than normal for this time of year. But other than that, there’s some good news!

The Sakura Miku Nendoroid orders from 6 months ago have finally shipped out just a few days ago. While you’re waiting for your orders to arrive, you can watch Mikatan from Good Smile Company unbox one of these beautiful figures. The album Re:Dial by kz(livetune) is also set to ship out on the first day of Spring.

Lastly, the producer Ika (composer of the popular song Miku Miku Ni Shite Ageru) has released a new song just for the occasion titled “Cherry Blossom Banquet”, directed and animated by MasatakaP. Below is the video from Ika’s official channel. Subscribe if you enjoy his work!

Featuring Miku, Luka, and even OneRoom himself, while using animation quality far above most other videos, the PV took nicovideo and the Vocaloid community by emotional storm.

The website has a link to preorder the album on Amazon, but it does not yet offer much info on the contents of the CD itself. Expect the information to be updated over time. The album is set to be released on May 15th. Enjoy the PV and the rest of the article in the full story. Lastly, Happy Valentine’s Day! (more…)
