New Nyan Cat Crossfades album by DaniwellP feat. Hatsune Miku

I hope you’re not too overloaded with Vocaloid merchandise after Christmas, because DaniwellP has decided to toss another awesome gift our way. As most educated Vocaloid fans should know, the original Nya! meme was started by DaniwellP on nicovideo back in July 2010. The song was used in various videos and even remade countless times, until it finally hit gold status on a global scale with Nyan Cat.

To celebrate the massive success of his original creation, DaniwellP is releasing a special album with many of his popular feline related tracks, as well as various remixes! With 22 bright and cheerful tracks, you can bet it will lift your mood and put a smile on your face. The album is currently listed on cdjapan for 1905 yen, although they also ship internationally. The first press is sold out, so there’s no bonus items. The album is set to ship on February 1st.

SEGA and Crypton Reveal Spoiler of Next PjD Release

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season, since SEGA and Crypton decided to throw us an extra gift. A video released on the Official Project Diva youtube channel reveals what is supposedly PV footage from the next Project Diva title under development. From the resolution of the video, there is strong suspicion that this is likely video from a PS Vita. It sports some pretty nice enhancements over the versions on the PSP. Lighting effects, hair physics, and even polygon count have improved dramatically.

The description then teases “The next PROJECT DIVA is coming in 2012″. If you’ve been questioning buying a PS Vita, this will certainly help a lot of Vocaloid and PjD fans make up their minds. Watch the video for yourself on the official channel, or watch below.

The model looks a lot like the one from the Sapporo and Singapore concerts…

Live Streaming of “Mikupa in Singapore” Tonight!

As I’m sure you’ve heard before, there will be a live concert in Singapore later tonight, approximately 16 hours from now. Those who cannot attend it in person can conveniently watch the live stream online as it happens! It’s not the same as actually being there, but it’s the next best thing. So those who want to watch it as it happens can head over here to buy your online viewing pass.

Those who can’t watch it tonight can still purchase a ticket and watch it anytime online for the next two weeks after the concert ends.

Probably the worst headline so far, but hey here are two good original songs to give you a nice start into the week!

This song is a cover of the 1995 JPOP classic “WONDER GIRL” by Akiko Hinagata, who was not only a successful JPOP singer but also a gravure idol. The song is pretty catchy once it reaches the chorus and this cover is done pretty well. Enjoy!

For those of you interested in more of Akiko Hinagata you might want to simply read more about her or maybe buy some of her music or even her sexy DVDs.

Chocolate Train – Penguins Project x Absorb x Taitson (Hatsune Miku original)

Two days ago this crossover was released. It features Absorb, Taitson and the Penguins Project. This song was originally a Hatsune Miku original song. If you like what you are hearing give absorb a visit on their myspace.

For those of you who like the style of absorb, be sure to pick up their new CD “Sakura no Ame” which will also feature Hatsune Miku. The CD is dropping on 26th November and is available for preorder at CDJapan. Don’t worry too much about it now, we will of course keep you updated and remind you before it comes out.
