Coming in as a little surprise today, Goodsmile Racing has revealed the Racing Miku 2018 visual by Hiro Kanzaki! Hiro Kanzaki, also known as HanasoumenP or HSP, is a professional trance music artist as well as a talented illustrator. He is most recognized for his illustrations in the popular light novels “Oreimo” and “Eromanga Sensei”. In the Vocaloid community, he has been has been around since June 2008 and most known for his song “Unfragment“.

An image of the prototype Nendoroid was also revealed along with the key visual, based on the original design announced a while back at Magical Mirai this year by kome100. Nendoroid sponsorship courses are expected to open in February 2018. More info regarding the courses is due at later date.

In addition, the official website has been updated with the new visual as well as the race schedule. Fight, GSR!

Both TAITO and SEGA had some announcements to make regarding upcoming Hatsune Miku prize figure release events. The first on the list is the 4th and final Hatsune Miku 10th anniversary celebration prize figure in the lineup by TAITO, based on artwork by Apapico. All we have for now is the gorgeous artwork illustrated above to give an idea how it looks, but we should have a better look in a few months!

This figure will be part of a Family Mart Happy Kuji (lottery) event starting April 2018. More details to come later! Official page: http://kuji-honpo.jp/Product/0000000996/


Via Dengeki Hobby, we also have images of SEGA’s soon-releasing Hatsune Miku: Pierretta version prize figure, based on the module for the song “Cat Food” in Project Diva F. The prize figure is expected to officially release in the 4th week of January 2018. Try your chance at winning one from arcades in Japan, or find them from online retailers.

The Hatsune Miku: Pansy ver. prize figure, also made by SEGA, is hitting arcades and stores later this month! The Snow Miku 2018 street car first revealed to the public today, along with the reveal of Snow Miku 2018 Nendoroid and Figma! Every year the Snow Miku street car early reveal exhibition will be held for fans to visit a day before the operation, in the case of this year the operation period will be from tomorrow onward until March 27th, 2018.

Following the theme of “Animals” this year, the Snow Miku 2018 street car features the winning Snow Miku design by Taichadon as a red-crowned crane shrine maiden. The street car is fully decorated inside out with various Snow Miku commodities, and feature a reserved spot for the first public reveal of the Snow Miku 2018 Nendoroid and Figma. Snow Mikudayo also made her appearance today, and we in fact have a short recording of it via tweet by Kahotan from Good Smile Company just below.

Both the Nendoroid and Figma will be available to visitors at the Snow Miku festival and Winter Wonder Festival in February next year, while international preorders are expected to open shortly after the event of Winter Wonder Festival.

The Hatsune Miku 10th Anniversary ver. 1/7 scale figure with its beautiful design and stunning colors is now available for preorder! Additionally, there is a special Memorial edition available, which will include a large A4 size commemorative book called the “Hatsune Miku Archive”, which will include the winners of the Pixiv Hatsune Miku 10th Anniversary illustration contest as well as other contents to look back on Miku’s 10th anniversary.

Celebrating 10 years of Hatsune Miku!
Hatsune Miku celebrated her 10th anniversary on the 31st August 2017. In commemoration of the anniversary, Hatsune Miku’s character designer KEI illustrated a brand new illustration of Miku featuring the outfit designed by manga artist Mari Shimazaki. This illustration has now been transformed into an intricate scale figure by sculptor Takayuki Kawahara, filled with 10 years of appreciation towards the virtual idol!

The lovely scale figure is available from Good Smile Company’s online shop for 20,000 Yen (177 USD) for the regular edition, and 25,000 for the Memorial edition, with preorders open until January 11th 2018.
