Happy April 1st, and April Fools Day! While we don’t have any pranks planned for today, we’d like to share two great MikuMikuDance PVs created by the highly talented animator “Thanks“! These two videos celebrate Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto’s 10th anniversaries, and summarize all the MMD animations Thanks created with the two characters. And as always, his works are candy for the eyes!

And for those out of the loop, Kasane Teto also celebrates her 10th anniversary today, since she was originally revealed 10 years ago as an April Fools Day prank. However, she eventually became an officially recognized original character, and the most widely recognized UTAUloid!

There is no such thing as “Too Much Miku”, as it simply increases the amount of adorableness and fun. This is especially true for for Tac’s latest MikuMikuDance video, titled “Are You Going To Visit Hatsune Miku?”.

The video is a sequel to Tac’s previous popular work, “LET’S GO SEE MIKU!” (watch here → https://youtu.be/_zjjtkCFkeI), and follows up on Mariel’s previous visit to the mansion of Hatsune Miku(s). She plans to visit them again, but first she tries to explain her previous venture to her friends, and convince them it’s perfectly safe (and that she isn’t crazy).

Watch the video from Tac’s official channel below! Official channel link → https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCD2gA4RLxNDgGMx97uVWQ5A/

Fun Fact: Tac says he used around 230 different Hatsune Miku MMD models for the creation of this video!

For the first time in nearly 3 years, MikuMikuDance has received an update, although it’s actually a fairly small one. Specifically, the version 9.27 update fixes a mouse bug with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

If you run Windows 10, and encounter issues with the controls in MMD, be sure to grab the latest version from the official site! → http://www.geocities.jp/higuchuu4/index_e.htm

The Vocaloid producer DaniwellP, best known as the original creator of the Nyan Cat song, has been busy with releasing a lot of new content. Among these are new games, songs, albums, and surprisingly, a MikuMikuDance model! DaniwellP is definitely a Hatsune Miku community favorite, so here’s a roundup of his recent works.

If you missed the quick announcement from our social media, DaniwellP created a fun and very addicting webapp called Mikutap, where you can generate random Miku sounds to the rhythm of background music. It’s both uniquely cute and fun! Check out the official trailer above, and the webapp from the official site → https://aidn.jp/mikutap/

Protip: You can add the webapp to your device’s homescreen as an app to quickly launch it from anywhere! Just use Chrome or Safari’s “add to home screen” option.

Daniwell releasing a Hatsune Miku model for MikuMikuDance was definitely an unexpected surprise for sure. Rather than something “life-like” or an attempted mirror of Miku’s normal style, Daniwell went the creative route and went for a more simplistic, block-styled Miku, but with its own unique charm. It even has a neko ear option! Download it from the official site → http://aidn.jp/mmd/box_miku/

Tying in with the MMD model release, Daniwell also created a short music video using the new model, and surprisingly, the Hatsune Miku’s English voicebank. At just 23 seconds in length, it’s perfect to have as your ringtone. In fact, Daniwell also makes it downloadable from his official site, so go nuts! → http://aidn.jp/sound/

Lastly, Daniwell released his 3rd album “UCHU ZENBU” a couple months ago, and it was sadly overlooked by many. But it’s definitely worth a listen and addition to any Hatsune Miku fan’s collection! Check out the official page for all the shop links → https://aidn.jp/daniwell/uz/
