While this was already announced a few days ago I sadly did not have the time to post it until now. Anyway, it appears that Sega is making a completely Hatsune Miku dedicated game. Unlike the previous DS game which only featured Hatsune Miku in some minigames, this one will be all about her. The main focus of the game will be the rhythm game based story mode. During gameplay you can win several accessories and furniture to decorate Miku and her room. After that you can watch her walk around her room and do several activities. The untitled game is up for release in early 2009. No further details are known. For now enjoy the first impressions from these scans.
It was just brought to my attention that Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len apparently are included in Sega’s arcade smash hit Virtua Fighter 5 R since a few days.
But don’t get your hopes up too high – you still can’t let Miku fight against Rin and Len to see who really is the better Vocaloid singer. Instead, players of the arcade game now get the chance to win a virtual Nendoroid figure to decorate their character with.
While the game has been receiving updates since the debut release in mid 2006, this is probably one of the most surprising ones! Hatsune Miku is still incredibly popular and as some of you might know has already appeared in a few other games such as the Korean online golf game Pangya and 13 Sai no Hello Work on the Nintendo DS.
Via Japanator with thanks to Aku for pointing this out!
Last month we had already reported some information and some first early screenshots of the upcoming Nintendo DS title called “13 Sai No Hello Work DS”.
Now the release date for the game is set. You will be able to buy it starting from next Thursday, May 29th 2008.
As mentioned in the earlier article the game features a few stages in which you help Hatsune Miku by touching the notes flowing in the correct pattern and timing to play and sing a long to multiple songs.
You can pick up the game on launch date or already place your preorder over at Play-Asia.
So now lets all preorder and see how the actual game turns out when it ships! For now check out the video after the jump!
