It’s been less than a week since Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X has launched for the PlayStation Vita in Japan, and many fans in other countries have been asking “When will we get a localized version”? The answer to this question may be “Soon”, if this tweet posted earlier today by SEGA is anything to go by:

The above image is both weirdly random, and too specific and coincidental with timing. SEGA is all-too-familiar with the Cryptonloids and their favorite food items. The Negi (spring onions) stands for Hatsune Miku, the Orange and Bananas are for Kagamine Rin and Len, the Ice Cream is for Kaito, the Sake is for Meiko, and the Tuna is for Megurine Luka.

Think we’re crazy? We’ll find out soon enough!

A number of Hatsune Miku fans spent one (or more) of some of the most exciting nights of their lives watching the Hatsune Miku Expo performances live in Los Angeles and New York, and cannot wait to enjoy the next live  event, should one happen again. But you can at least relive part of that experience again, thanks to a newly uploaded segment from Miku Expo in New York.

This video features Hatsune Miku performing “Glass Wall” by the producer GuitarHeroPianoZero, and contains likely the same high quality footage you can expect to see on the official concert Blu-Ray, releasing this July (don’t forget to order here!). Enjoy the video below from the official Hatsune Miku YouTube channel!

After two years of waiting, and several teases at the Wonder Festival events, the Hatsune Miku: Tell Your World ver. 1/8 scale figure is now available for preorder!

This particular figure’s design is based on the original jacket illustration for “Tell Your World EP” album. The song was also featured in an award winning Google Chrome advert in 2011.

Preorders from Good Smile Company’s online shop opened today, and will remain open until October 22nd at 9:00 PM JST. GSC shop preorders will also include an A3-size tapestry, featuring a high-res photo of the figure itself, as a bonus. The figure can be found from other online retailers like CDJapan and Amiami, but without the preorder bonus.

A special website has opened up for the preorder period, where fans can submit their “dream” to be featured on the box art for the figure. Simply submit a name up to 10 characters, and your “dream” message up to 100 characters. Don’t use any copyrighted quotes, however!

Good Smile Company has announced a couple all-new nendoroids that will be made available at Anime Expo 2013, and among them is the Hatsune Miku: Yukata Ver. Natsutsubaki nendoroid. She will also be obtainable through online orders starting July 8th, and at other summer events in east asian countries.

This beautiful Yukata Miku nendoroid comes in a red summer yukata outfit, complete with 3 different facial expressions and several different accessories. These include a pouch, a candy apple, and a decorative flower for her hair.

Event-goers will be able to get their hands on this figure months before anyone else, as online orders aren’t scheduled to ship until October 2013. You’ll even save by not having to pay shipping costs. Event prices are currently unannounced, but the online price is set at 3200 Yen.

You can read the official Good Smile product page here, and find higher resolution images from Mamitan’s blog. Lower resolution images can be seen below.

As another small announcement, I will personally be attending Anime Expo once again this year for the full 4 days, from July 4th through the 7th. I will have some special announcements regarding my visit, so stay tuned!
