While we’ve been busy, several Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone DX game updates were announced over the past month. Here’s what you can catch up on if you missed anything!

The Ghost Rule song stage for Future Tone DX was demoed at the recent Tokyo Game Show, and the gameplay was recorded above by KEVITO on youtube, check it out!

SEGA and HORI have announced a special Future Tone DX edition PlayStation 4 controller, scheduled for release at the same time as the game on November 22nd! Preorders seem to constantly open and close from various online sources, such as Amazon Japan and Amiami, so keep an eye out for availability!

Finally, Sony has announced the release of a future Tone DX/Miku 10th anniversary celebration edition PlayStation 4 console, available in 500GB (34,000 JPY) and 1TB (39,000 JPY) capacities with customizable covers when ordering! There’s two cover plate styles available, which can also be ordered separately for only 3,000 Yen each from the Japanese PlayStation store. You may also find the consoles and plates from other sources, since 3rd party sales of these items have grown popular. Scheduled release is also set for November 22nd!

Project Diva Future Tone DX is still available for preorder for the PlayStation 4, more details here: http://www.mikufan.com/hatsune-miku-project-diva-future-tone-dx-now-open-for-preorder/

A shame they didn’t design the controller in arcade style :/

Is the console a PS4 slim or PS4 pro? If it’s a slim, would the cover fit a PS4 pro?

  • VirtualDynasty

The special console being sold is a PS4 Slim with a design etched into the console, so it can’t be removed. The separate faceplates (covers) being sold are for the original PS4. The PS4 Slim and Pro don’t have removable faceplates.

Oh. Okay, thank you for the clarification!

You can buy the top cover only but it’s only for the PS4 Slim only
Do you even check the website?

VirtualDynasty didn’t even check the website obviously…..

Thanks for assuming I didn’t go to the website. I did visit the website, but you caught my mistake where the website considers the original PS4 to be the Slim. I assumed the 2000 series was referring to the real original PS4 as it later states “Orginal PS4” further in.
