On December 30th and New Year’s day in Japan, Hatsune Miku will be performing live on-stage at Countdown Japan 1213 with the young, but highly popular and talented, producer named TeddyLoid. TeddyLoid started working with music at a young age and started a highly successful career as a DJ and music producer at age 15. He had his first world tour at only age 18, and he is currently 23 years old.

Both performances will be 30 minutes in length. The first performance starts on December 30th at 1:00 PM JST, and the second will begin at 1:35 AM JST on New Year’s day (January 1st). Countdown Japan is Japan’s largest rock countdown festival for the new year.

There are currently no plans for any streams, but event information and time tables can be found here and here.

So… Who wants to take a guess at when will we finally get Miku to sing for our New Year’s festivals?

Um…. will SEGA team involved in this event…? I really hope they will involve SEGA, no others can make Miku’s visual better than SEGA..

Why I see “DJ” icon in the timetable for Miku? Will Miku really show her Appearance? Or it’s just her song/voice being DJed by Teddyloid?

  • Akita Neru

Cosmoman, you made my inner Grammar Nazi want to murder you.

  • @Cosmoman: Based on the details written on Hatsune Miku’s facebook page, I’d say that Miku will be making an actual appearance of some sort, not just vocally. As for who will be in charge of it, I have no idea.

  • Cosmoman

@Akita: Argh! Why would you murder meee (>.<)

    In SEGA only we trust
