The SEGA feat. Hatsune Miku Project team has just announced on Twitter that they will be featuring a Project Morpheus virtual reality tech demo for the PlayStation 4 at E3 2015 from June 16th~18th, featuring none other than Hatsune Miku. Please note that this is a technology demonstration, and not an announcement of a new game (although these features may be considered for a future game).

The virtual reality headset isn’t due to launch for the PS4 until sometime in the first half of 2016, but Sony is working with partners like SEGA to showcase what the technology can do. The feature example of this tech demo is the ability to enjoy a virtual concert up close and personal, as if you’re actually there.

The tech demo will feature a virtual concert with Miku singing a medley of music composed by Mitchie M, and SEGA promises the sensation and experience of the demo will be breathtaking. As for the future of the Project Diva series, SEGA says to continue looking forward to future announcements.
