As an update to last month’s article, the ordering and pricing information for the 2013 Snow Miku nendoroid has been announced. She also has a rather colorful name: Snow Miku: Strawberry White Kimono Ver.

International orders for the nendoroid will open up on February 10th at 5:00 PM JST, and will end on February 18th at 9:00 PM JST. This is the time period in which they can accept orders, but can always close early once they reach their maximum limit (such as in the case of the Hatsune Miku 2.0 nendoroid).

Pricing is set at 4,000 JPY ($46 USD) at the Good Smile Online Shop, with the shipping price set at 2,000 JPY ($23). There is a max limit of 3 orders per person, and the shipment date is scheduled for late June 2013. Once preorders open, you may find listings on amiami or hobby search for less, so keep your eyes peeled.

  • @Akita Neru: Same price as the last two Snow Miku nendos, except it’ll actually cost a bit less this time around after conversion since the value of the JPY has gone down. The last one cost me around $80 total due to the rates at the time. This time it’ll only be around $70.

Still expensive. Nendos are overpriced (Figmas can be cheaper than nendoroids!).

Banzai!! \(^o^)/ I’ve been looking forward to this announcement! I missed out on ALL the previous Snow Mikus. I will be sure to have this one! BTW, I was able to pre-order Hatsune Miku 2.0 from Anime-Island just last weekend.

  • @Akita Neru: Most Figmas don’t include the amount of accessories that can be found with certain Nendoroids. The last two Snow Miku nendos were pretty feature-packed, and so will the next one.

Any idea if/when she will become available for preorder at AmiAmi? I’d prefer to order from them, but I’m nervous about missing the GSC deadline! Is there normally a delay between GSC’s preorder release and other sites?

  • @Faux Pas: Vendors always ship on the same dates as GSC, or later. Not earlier. And also, no, sorry. This is only being sold through GSC’s own online shop.

Thanks for the heads up! I just placed my order at GSC! (^ ^)
