Ever wondered what Hatsune Miku would look like if she was drawn in the art style of Yuru Yuri anime and manga series? Well, the series character artist Namori has done just that with a recent doodle on Twitter!

Namori says it’s just a らくがき (sketch), so it leaves us wondering how this art would look if she went crazy with it. It’s already very cute as it is! Check out the full size artwork from the tweet above.

As a fun trivia, the voice actor of Sugiura Ayano from the Yuru Yuri anime series was Fujita Saki, the same voice provider for Hatsune Miku’s VOCALOID voicebank!

Snow Miku illust by Rassu

The final stage performance at this year’s 28th YOSAKOI Soran Festival in Sapporo will be livened up by a collaboration between Snow Miku and the Pokemon Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix! The trio will make a special appearance to enliven the event’s stage during the “Final Stage Part 1”, and perform to the song Gohatto Disco by Satsuki ga Tenkomori.

Additionally, Rabbit Yukine will be making an appearance at the event’s parade. The Snow Miku Special Team hopes you’ll come and enjoy the show, don’t miss it!

Snow Mikudayo and Rabbit Yukine

What is the YOSAKOI Soran Festival?

June, the month when lush greenery is abundant in the streets of Sapporo.
Situated along a main road one simply cannot miss, watch as Odori Park and several places around the city transform into the center stages of this event!

The YOSAKOI Soran Festival first came about when in 1992, the clappers used in the original Yosakoi Festival from Kochi Prefecture was adapted into Hokkaido’s traditional folk song “Soran Bushi”. Clothed in brightly colored outfits, the dancers beat their clappers to the melody of Soran Bushi, dancing in a spirited and dynamic way. The energy from their dances permeates through the streets, creating a lively atmosphere.”

DIVALLER Controller Sample Image

Leave it to a smaller, independent controller creator to make what might be one of the better looking controllers out there for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva games. Hong Kong based 3rd party controller maker GAMO2 appears to have done just that with their teaser of the “DIVALLER” USB controller for PS3, PS4 and PC platforms.

The controller button layout, as well as the inclusion of an actual arcade-style slide bar, might make for one of the most genuine arcade-like gameplay experiences for Project Diva players at home. Here’s to hoping this controller will function as well as it looks!

Being 3rd party, this controller is unofficial and purposely avoids any direct references to Hatsune Miku, minus the hairband and twin-tail decoration on the controller face. But Hatsune Miku fans will know quite well what this is for, and that means the design nailed it.

The controller is expected to be released around 4th quarter of 2019 for a currently unspecified amount, according to GAMO2 on Twitter. The design may also not be finalized yet, so be sure to watch for updates.
