The official album soundtrack for the upcoming Magical Mirai this year has been announced! This two-disc compilation album features ten tracks to be performed live at the concerts in August and September as well as two music videos. The tenth track is a bonus track, which will be a surprise reveal at later date. Featured on the album cover is this year’s main visual by the artist Mika Pikazo.

The album is priced at 2,100 yen, and will be released on July 25th, 2018. The track list is as follows:

Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2018 will be held at two locations in August and September: INTEX Osaka in Osaka on August 25th~26th and Makuhari Messe in Tokyo on August 31st~September 2nd. Currently, live ticket applications for overseas fans will be open until May 28th, while accommodation package applications will be open until May 15th.

Teased back in the late December last year, Hatsune Miku finally makes her grand appearance as a pilot in the bullet train transforming robot TV anime “Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion“! The said episode, episode 15, tells a crisis where an enemy is spotted in Hokkaido whereas our main character, Hayato Hayasugi, is in Omiya and may not make it in time. Rose to the rescue in this crisis is the 11 year old pilot “Hatsune Miku” and her partner “Shinkalion H5 Hayabusa”.

“Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion” is a TV anime directed by Takahiro Ikezoe. The series is based on the line of transforming train toys, where gifted children pilot transforming bullet trains to combat monsters that resemble jet black bullet trains. In commemoration of this week’s episode, staffs has released special Hatsune Miku wallpapers now available for free download on the official site. Be sure to check it out!

The Hatsune Miku x KODO Taiko Special Live 2018 official site receives an all new update today telling us the much anticipated ticket information. Presales lottery will be held on April 4th at 11:00 JST~April 11th at 11:00 JST, where general sales will begin from May 2nd at 10:00 JST onward. Seating options include S seats at 7,500 yen (tax included) and A seats at 6,500 yen (tax included).

In addition to the ticket details, a new note section is now live on the official site. The notes cover from the basics to everything such as prohibiting food and drinks inside the auditorium, warning the visitors to not queue in line a day before at midnight, asking the visitors to refrain from bringing in raw green onions and such. Additionally, an original penlight will be given to all the viewers attending the special live.

The live will be held at NHK Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo on June 2nd~3rd.

The time has finally came! Snow Miku 2019 and her rabbit partner Yukine design submissions are now open! We’re getting a brand new theme for this year, that is, “Princess” in the image of Hokkaido’s Snow. Now is your chance to take on this once-in-a-year opportunity to have your very own designs featured in the next Snow Miku festival! The collaboration opens a little early compare to last year’s. Is it perhaps getting earlier with each year?

Entries are open starting now until April 20th, 2018 at 5:00 PM JST, with the result announcement to follow by the end of August 2018. Please follow the rules below closely otherwise your entries will be invalid!

Hatsune Miku will once again be performing a collaboration special live with Kodo, Japan’s internationally famous taiko drumming group, as one of the “This is NIPPON Premium Theater” series showing fascinating Japanese arts and culture as part of the Tokyo 2020 official program. It’s been a little over a year since Miku and Kodo first performed together in March 2017.

The live will be held at NHK Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo on June 2nd~3rd, with ticket details to be released on March 28th. A short 15-second trailer is available below in the tweet from the officials today. Stay tuned!
