SEGA has rolled out Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX demo on Nintendo eShop starting today. The demo comes with two tracks in three difficulties: “Senbonzakura” and “LOL -lots of laugh-“. Players are provided with 30 uses in total for North America region, with Europe’s to follow soon in a short moment.

(The current demo for Europe is out, but it’s believed to be bugged due to 1 use provided)

The full version of the game will release in North America and Europe on September 8th and 11th, respectively. In addition to local release, SEGA has offered a special physical Launch Edition at retailers nationwide in North America. Follow the QR code below to begin your download.

The live stream “Hatsune Miku Time 8” today has covered on several interesting topics, with the main event as the final selection of 2016 Snow Miku and her rabbit partner Yukine. We’ve participated in the stream and captured several announcements, including screenshots of each.

First to announce is the reveal of 2015 Magical Mirai second visual by hoshima. Staffs have also teased a minute-long preview of the official 2015 Magical Mirai theme song “Hand in Hand” by kz during the program.

Following up next is the announcement of Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai compilation CD+Blu-ray. The set comes with Nendoroid Mikudayo and exclusive accessories, with worldwide shipping also available (more info here). Also announced are the Hatsune Miku animal charm straps with further details to arrive at a later date.

Goodsmile Racing took a step in the live stream revealing 2015 Racing Miku Thailand ver visual, in promotion of their next race in Thailand on June 21st. As a friendly reminder, Figma sponsorship courses are still open up until June 10th.

The final voting of 2016 Snow Miku and Yukine concludes with Owly Owl Snow Miku 2016 and Flying Yukine both by Kotatsu Odoki as winners by 35.5% and 54.5% of the votes, respectively. A tweet from @GSC_GUMA has confirmed Nendoroid and Figma production for 2016 Snow Miku and Yukine.

Project Mirai DX, the unique 3D rhythm game developed specifically for the Nintendo 3DS™ system, will now launch on Sept. 8, in North America and Sept. 11 in Europe from SEGA® of America, Inc. and SEGA® Europe, Ltd. respectively. The game will be available in stores and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS for the originally announced price of $39.99USD or $49.99CAD in North America.

In North America, SEGA will offer a special physical Launch Edition at retailers nationwide. This launch edition of Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX will include the game, premium outer box packaging, and a wallet chain designed after Hatsune Miku’s iconic belt – a simple and stylish way for fans to represent their love for Miku. All copies of the game will include 19 double-sided augmented reality (AR) cards that show off additional dance moves and costumes.

In collaboration with Good Smile Company, a popular Japanese figure company, Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX features Miku and all of her friends in their Nendoroid figure style.  The game features 48 full-length versions of fan-favorite songs players can challenge themselves with by trying to match the rhythm in “Tap Mode” and “Button Mode,” each with multiple difficulty levels, which can be further augmented with challenge and support items.

But the rhythm game is just one facet of Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX – players can also customize a virtual apartment for their favorite Miku character with decorations, seasonal items, and more. The Mirai Theater has replay functions so players can watch their favorite videos and add scrolling commentary. Choreograph entirely new routines by making new moves in the Dance Studio, and compose brand new song phrases in My Tune. This info can all be shared on customizable Profile Cards, which can be shared via StreetPass™ and kept current via SpotPass™.
