Official Goods Announced


The first batch of official goods contains 7 new items: A shopping bag with art by iXima and bob, full graphic T-shirt with art by Apapico, basic T-shirt with art by iXima, pen light featuring art by iXima, pen light sleeve set with art by Murakami Yuichi, pen light holder with art by CHRIS, and a 6 color muffler towel. Workshop & Creative Stage Updates


A special miniature Miku nanoblock kit will be available at the Workshop area of Magical Mirai for 500 yen. This set is limited and exclusive to this event! Additionally, the creative stage events will feature 3 different Vocaloid creators on September 2nd and 3rd. Apapico will host an art coloring session from 1:30 PM~3:30 PM on September 2nd, Saitou Naoki will host a “making of” art session from 11:30~12:30 on September 3rd, and monica:factory will be hosting a music composition and tips session from 4:00 PM~5:00 PM on September 3rd.

A Cosplayer Show will take place September 2nd from 11:30~12:30, where cosplaying participants can have a chance to show off and talk their favorite points of cosplay on stage! The event will be hosted by producer Nyanyannya. More info on participation will be announced later. Next, a video creators show will be hosted by none other than the popular Hatsune Miku video creators MasatakaP and Kasoku Satou! The show will be held September 3rd at 1:30~2:20.

Lastly, a talk session by Crypton Future Media staff will review the topic of Hatsune Miku’s overseas expansion, through events such as MIKU EXPO. The session will be hosted by Hiroyuki Itoh, Guillaume Devigne and Meguro Kumiko.

Music Area Info

A “huge cake object” is being prepared for display, along with the first ever life-sized statues of Kagamine Rin and Len! Also planned is a special screening and art gallery for the PV “Sand Planet”, the official Magical Mirai 2017 theme song. The following activities will also be available in the music area:

– Musical Instrument Experience Corner hosted by YAMAHA: Experience instruments like Saxophones and Violins for the first time!
– VOCALOID Booth hosted by YAMAHA: Will introduce new Vocaloid products for the first time, and showcase previously popular products.
– Enterprise Development: Get closer to the world of music production. Exhibited by various music companies.
– Karent & SONOCA Corner: Exhibition corner of Crypton Future Media’s music label KarenT and their smart music card SONOCA.

DJ Stage Lineup

Besides the ticketed DJ Live event that wasn’t open to overseas applicants, there will be Free Viewing DJ live events throughout the duration of Magical Mirai! Anyone can join the free viewing area at any time to enjoy the performances, granted there’s room to join. Here’s the lineup:

1:30~3:00 – Opening DJ Party featuring HachiojiP, DJ’TEKINA//SOMETHING and Merochin!
4:00~4:30 – Enjoy various Vocaloid songs arranged by musicians with musical instruments.
