A special Hatsune Miku 10th anniversary celebration album was announced today, titled “Re:Start”. Planned for an August 30th release (just 1 day before Hatsune Miku’s anniversary!), the album will feature songs spanning two disks, and will be available in regular and limited editions. The total number of songs is yet to be announced, but 11 participating producers have been confirmed so far. Here’s what’s been announced:

The album is priced at 2,500 yen (tax included), and will be released on August 2nd. International preorders are now open on CDJapan and Amazon JP. BIGHEAD’s second album 「RELOVE feat. Hatsune Miku」 is now available in physical and digital versions! The album features songs in both English and Japanese, with styles ranging from rock to electro-pop, to suit a variety of interests. The album cover also features beautiful artwork by Apapico! Hatsune Miku fans may remember BIGHEAD and Apapico as the artists contributing the theme song and promotional art for the 2014 Miku Expo events in North America.

With Hatsune Miku’s 10th anniversary drawing closer, EXIT TUNES has decided to create VOCALOHISTORY, a mega-sized music compilation of many of Hatsune Miku’s greatest hits. While the total number of participating producers and songs (49 so far) are still to be confirmed, we do know the collection will span a total of 4 disks (yes, four!), and comes with lots of extras to compliment the large music package. This is also a limited production release of only 3939 sets, which is expected to release on March 15th, 2017.
