Possibly one of the most beautiful Hatsune Miku figures of all time, the Hatsune Miku: Harvest Moon ver. 1/8 scale figure is now available for preorder!

“Won’t you admire the moon with me?”

From the “Character Vocal Series 01: Hatsune Miku” comes a 1/8th scale figure of Hatsune Miku wearing dressed up in outfit based on those seen at the Mid-Autumn Festival in China.

The translucent feeling from the original illustration by Chinese illustrator Rella has been captured as faithfully as possible, with a beautiful sculpt that captures her elegance. The paintwork is also a highlight of the figure, with the gentle colors of the design blending with the translucent parts to create an stunning appearance. Enjoy a moonlit light with the gentle smile of Harvest Moon Miku by your side!

It looks like Hatsune Miku’s V4 Chinese Vocaloid software release date (?) has possibly been decided, as a special countdown page has opened up at http://www.poppro.cn/, linked from the main SCLA teaser page. Poppro.cn is suspected to become China’s own version of Piapro.jp, which is Crypton Future Media’s peer professional collaboration site for Vocaloid content creators.

The countdown shows 20 days remaining in China time, which translates to the timer ending on Hatsune Miku’s birthday on August 31st. The timer runs off your system time, so it’ll show different timers for different countries, be careful! Whether or not the countdown is for the launch of Hatsune Miku V4 Chinese, Poppro.cn, or both, is still a mystery. Stay tuned!

Easter Egg: Try swiping left or right while visiting the countdown website on mobile!

What if Hatsune Miku didn’t particularly enjoy dancing to the song in that super viral music video you uploaded the other day? This fanmade action video by Chinese animator 008Gundy features Hatsune Miku expressing her displeasure after they recently featured her in a music video dancing to Gokuraku Jodo by GARNiDELiA. It’s been very popular with Chinese fans, gaining 700,000 views on Bilibili in just 3 days.

The video uses REMmaple’s Hatsune Miku V3 MikuMikuDance model, with impressive animation in 3DS Max. The ending also teases a new video that will be uploaded to 008Gundy’s Bilibili account on February 2nd, local China time.

We don’t want to give any further spoilers, so watch the video below to see what happens, or click the following link if the embedded video doesn’t play: http://www.bilibili.com/video/av8263165/
