Celebrate Hatsune Miku 10th anniversary with the Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: 10th Anniversary Ver! Preorders for the Nendoroid have begun starting today. The Nendoroid features a bright and colorful ribbon matching the key visual by KEI, and a metallic feels with rainbow gradient. Don’t miss out on the winking face plate!

Hatsune Miku celebrates her 10th anniversary on the 31st August 2017, and her special 10th anniversary illustration has been transformed into a Nendoroid to celebrate! The original character designer of Hatsune Miku, KEI, has worked together with the designer and manga artist Mari Shimazaki to create a vivid illustration to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hatsune Miku, which has been faithfully shrunk down into Nendoroid size!

Her colorful body, the iconic ribbon on her back as well as the ribbons in her hair have all been included to capture the more characteristic details of the 10th anniversary version. She comes with two face plates including a lovely smile based on the original illustration, as well as a cute winking expression for all sorts of adorable poses. Be sure to add the commemorative Nendoroid to your collection – the perfect item to celebrate Hatsune Miku’s 10th anniversary!

Preorders are open on Good Smile Company’s online shop at 4,500 yen (~40 USD) until October 12th at 12:00 JST, with release scheduled for January 2018. She’s also available at other online shops. Check out the links below!

Hatsune Miku 10th Anniversary Figure Project Illustration Contest

In addition to the announcement above, Good Smile Company has announced the Hatsune Miku 10th anniversary illustration contest on Pixiv starting now! The winning entry will be made into a figure, with the top 100 entries to receive the Hatsune Miku: 10th anniversary 1/7 scale figure as a prize.

Entries must be uploaded with the tag “初音ミク10thイラコン” (copy and paste without quotes), with the time limit sets on October 2nd. Results announcement will follow at later date.

Hatsune Miku 10th Anniversary Compilation Album Illustration Recruitment Now Open

Crypton Future Media has announced an illustration recruitment for Hatsune Miku 10th anniversary compilation album (title to be determined)! The 10th anniversary compilation album will contain legendary songs from over the last decade, and its first press limited edition will include an illustration booklet containing fans’ illustrations from the recruitment (up to 100 illustrations per theme). The two themes are: “Celebrating Hatsune Miku 10th anniversary illustration” and “Your Hatsune Miku illustration”. 

The album will be released later this year in August 2017. In addition to having your illustration(s) featured in the illustration booklet, additional rewards from the recruitment include original goods and Piapro character gifts. The result announcement will follow in June 2017.

Please make sure to read the rules very closely and follow them, otherwise you entry may be invalid! Entries are open starting now, and will close on June 15th at 5:00 PM JST! Result announcement to follow in June 2017.
