We already covered the details of the Live Quest Mode they also mentioned, but we’ll recap:

The clearing of Live Quest Mode requires collecting a certain amount of “voltage” (replaces the typical % completion bar), and different modules and accessories now have attributes to assist with clearing stages in this mode. Confirmed attributes and items/modules that have them are: Silent voice (COOL), Original (NEUTRAL), Judgement (CUTE), Honey Whip (BEAUTY), and Neko Neko Cape (CHAOS).

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X is scheduled for a Japan release on the PS Vita in March 2016, and the PlayStation 4 in Fall 2016.

An early news from Famitsu via Hachima Kikou has (reportedly) introduced new features, modules, and songs for the upcoming title Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X in 2016. The three new key features are “Live Quest mode”, “Module Drop”, and “Rush Notes”.

The Live Quest mode is a quest system newly introduced to the game, and listed on the bulletin board in Diva Room. The quests may vary depending on the areas, where they’re five areas in total. By “filling” up the power of song, the quest is progressed and eventually passed when a right amount of “Voltage” is met.

By completion of the quest, an event will trigger conversations among the characters in the quest. Additionally, if the quest conditions and “Chance Time” are both cleared, players will be rewarded with a random module. This is known as the “Module Drop” feature, and will be in place of the traditional method with diva points (specific modules tend to drop from certain quests).

Another feature to mention is the “Rush Notes”, where it establishes an alternative for players to gain higher scores. This can be done by pressing the corresponding buttons repeatedly when the word “RUSH” appears on the screen.

Lastly, three songs and modules have been revealed for the game: “Love Trial” by 40mP (Judgment), “Raspberry*Monster” by HoneyWorks (Raspberryism), and “Strangers” by HeavenzP (Silent Voice).

EDIT: With the official site update, we have confirmed the details of the early leak. In addition to the above contents, the live quest mode will also reward  music, stages, and accessories. Miku and friends will level up as the quest completion increases. The Rhythm Game mode will now be known as Free Play mode, and the game will have 30 songs in total.

It’s said that the game is at 39% of its development stage.
