Goodsmile Racing finishes the fourth round of Super GT in third place at the Suzuka International Circuit.

Some changes were made to the livery of the #4 Hatsune Miku AMG with the Haregi version of the 2021 Racing Miku on the bonnet of the car since there will be no 10 Hours of Suzuka race this year. And a collaboration with the streetwear brand Anti Social Social Club decorated on the rear wing of the car.

The race started off with the leading GT500 car, the #64 Modulo NSX suffering a brake failure and crashing into the foam barriers bringing out the Full Course Yellow (FCY) and then a safety car shortly after.

The race finished with a dominant Nissan victory in GT500 locking out the podium with the #23 Motul Autech taking the win. While in GT300 the #244 Takanaka-no-yu Supra won with the #4 Miku AMG crossing the finish line in third to secure their first podium this season.

With 11 points scored in this race, Goodsmile Racing currently stands 9th in the Drivers’ Ranking. We’re halfway through the season so it’s not over yet.

The next race will be at Sportsland Sugo on the 11th and 12th of September.
