Beginning today, the figure long awaited by Mitchie M fans is here: The Hatsune Miku: Greatest Idol ver. 1/8 scale figure! Standing at 20cm tall, she is modeled after the album art of Mitchie M’s first major Vocaloid album, Greatest Idol.

The jacket cover of sound producer Mitchie M’s album ‘Greatest Idol’ featured an illustration of Hatsune Miku by the famous animator and manga artist Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. This illustration has now been transformed into a figure for fans to add to their collection!

The intricately sculpted details of her unique instrument as well as her dynamic pose filled with energy are sure to brighten up your day, and if that’s not enough her adorable expression will finish the job!

She is available starting today from Good Smile Company’s online shop for 12,000 Yen ($100 USD), which will also include an A3 size tapestry of the illustration for “Greatest Idol”.  Although you can also find the figure from other online shops (CDJapan and Amiami) for less, but without the bonus tapestry. Preorders from GSC’s shop will remain open until October 1st at 9:00 PM JST, while other shops will stop when limits are reached. The expected shipping time is May 2016.

If you’d like to see more photos, GSC’s Kahotan has shared her review of the figure on her blog! Good Smile Company has also done something unique, and created a promotional video/commercial for the figure. Give it a watch below!
