Japan Expo in Paris took place this year at the North Paris-Villepinte Exposition Park, from July 2nd through July 6th. The official Hatsune Miku booth, as mentioned before, contained the life-size Hatsune Miku figure(design by iXima), illustrations by many popular illustrators, and commemorative photo spot(booth BJ46). The official Miku goods store located at another booth(booth BJ47), which is only a few steps away from the Miku booth. For daily events, there were Hatsune Miku Cosplay Show and Pocket Miku sales, at booth BJ46(Miku) and booth BJ37(Gakken Marketing), in consecutive order. The show started at 1:00 pm and ended at 2:00 pm. On Day 2 of the event, there was a Hatsune Miku V3 Vocal Synthesizer workshop, started from 11:30 pm to 12:30 pm.
Fans at Japan Expo also got to see Vocaloid Opera “THE END”. The projection took place at the video room, started from 4:45 pm to 6:15 pm on July 3rd. Meanwhile, as an alternate option, fans can also watch THE END on French public channel known as “France 4” at 23:30 pm on July 5th. On the 4th day, there was a Hatsune Miku Quiz organized by Crypton Future Media at booth BJ46, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. There were also Vocaloid quiz and Karaoke organized by Vocaloid.fr on the last day of the event(booth AR34). The lucky winner got to walk away with Snow Miku Figma as a prize.
