If you’re heading to Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2018 in Osaka or Tokyo, then you’re in for a special treat! The previously teased Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2017 ver. Nendoroid will be making its prerelease debut at Good Smile Company’s booths at the exhibitions.

The nendoroid wonderfully recreates last year’s Magical Mirai main visual art design by iXima, and comes with three different faceplates: A gentle smile, and open-mouthed happy smile, and and lastly a cheering smiling face, based on artwork by illustrator Nokuhashi! Additional accessories include the microphone staff, and a nendoroid-sized glow stick (finally)!

She’ll be available at the events for 4700 JPY ($43 USD), with additional preorder details coming later! Check out the gallery below.

F:NEX, the figure manufacturing company that created the 1/7 scale figure of Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2017, is back yet again to create the scale figure based on the main visual art for Magical Mirai 2018!

F:NEX announced they will begin reservations on August 25th, also the same day that Magical Mirai 2018 will begin in Osaka. Preorders will also be available from their booths at the exhibition, where you can obtain a preorder exclusive backdrop for displaying with the figure!

It is hinted a figure prototype might be on display at the event, so keep an eye for that news. Pricing info is due at a later date!

Returning to Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai this year is the music sale “Creators Market” held by KarenT, the world’s largest Vocaloid music label, but we also have another surprise to unfold: the announcement of a collaboration site “Piapro Marche” by Piapro! Over 40 producers and 20 Piapro creators will be present at the event, where you can directly support your favorite producers and creators.

A few notable creators on the lists include Omoi, BIGHEAD, keisei, Mikai Music, BEEK, Nokuhashi, Agonasubi, and much much more to be found on the official site. Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2018 will be held in Osaka and Tokyo on August 25th~26th and August 31st~September 2nd, respectively. Stay tuned!

TOKYO MX Broadcast Announces Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2018 Event Details

According to a recent TOKYO MX television broadcast, several key details of the Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2018 events have been detailed. Here’s what was announced in the broadcast:

1. Osaka and Tokyo will have different setlists. Possibly a 7~8 song difference between the two venues.
2. The theme song “Greenlights Serenade” will hold some kind of special significance during the concert. (Possible surprises)
3. A lot of high-energy changes to the music setlist. (A very tiring setlist!)
4. No details yet of a Kansai region collaboration (where Osaka is located), will be announced in the future, hopefully.
5: Life-sized Magical Mirai 2018 version Miku statue production in progress.

Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2018 Official Album Announced, Releases On July 25th

The official album soundtrack for the upcoming Magical Mirai this year has been announced! This two-disc compilation album features ten tracks to be performed live at the concerts in August and September as well as two music videos. The tenth track is a bonus track, which will be a surprise reveal at later date. Featured on the album cover is this year’s main visual by the artist Mika Pikazo.

The album is priced at 2,100 yen, and will be released on July 25th, 2018. The track list is as follows:

Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2018 will be held at two locations in August and September: INTEX Osaka in Osaka on August 25th~26th and Makuhari Messe in Tokyo on August 31st~September 2nd. Currently, live ticket applications for overseas fans will be open until May 28th, while accommodation package applications will be open until May 15th.
