If you’re wishing to attend Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2018 concerts in Osaka and/or Tokyo, ticket applications for overseas visitors is now open! Ticket applications will remain open until May 28th at 11:59pm JST. Winners of the application will be notified by email on June 2nd at 6:00pm JST.

Today’s Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2018 update is a big one, as the official website has been updated with the event’s main visual art, featuring Hatsune Miku in an outfit designed and drawn by illustrator Mika Pikazo!

Along with the absolutely adorable and colorful outfit design, the costume detail has also been published to the site. Perfect for those who need to start preparing their own cosplays!

We’re super excited with the reveal of this new outfit design, and look forward to future event announcements, stay tuned!

It looks like things for Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai are about to get a bit more exciting! The first teaser CM for the event has been uploaded, giving us a preview of the event’s theme song “Greenlights Serenade” compose by Omoi. Additionally, the Magical Mirai 2018 official site has been updated to announce the event dates for Osaka and Tokyo!

The Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai song contest makes a return this year and is open starting now! The grand prize winner will have his/her song performed at the live events, a pair of tickets to the live where the winning entry will be performed, and SONICWIRE gift certificate worth of 100,000 yen, whereas the runner-ups will receive SONICWIRE gift certificate worth of 30,000 yen.

The last year’s contest had Keisei with his song “Singularity” as the winning entry. Will yours be next?

Target characters

Hatsune Miku / Kagamine Rin / Kagamine Len / Megurine Luka / MEIKO / KAITO
(Including V3, V4X, ENGLISH, and CHINESE voicebanks, but limited to one character per submission)

  • The contest will remain open until March 29th at 17:00 JST.
  • Please include lyrics of the song in the submission’s description.
  • Submissions must be original, unreleased works not tied to any publishers, independent contracts, or management groups
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: Entries must be uploaded with the tag “マジカルミライ２０１８＿楽曲” (copy and paste without quotes). Please make sure to lock the tag otherwise your entry will be invalid.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure your entry is submitted without any licenses! During the submission process linked below, you’ll be presented with a list of licenses. Choose the checkbox at the bottom for “Upload without licenses”.
