Following the grand finale of Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2017 tonight comes the announcement of Magical Mirai 2018! The event will take place at Intex Osaka and Makuhari Messe in August~September 2018, with more details due at later date. Great thanks to all the fans from Japan and overseas for making this such a great event this year!

With the passing of the final performance in Tokyo, Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2019 has finally came to a close, and the Tokyo concert setlist is also now online, thanks to the tweets by @jt4mtb. Following the closing performance in Tokyo also comes the announcement for Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2020! The event will be held at INTEX Osaka in Osaka on August 7th~9th, 2020, and Makuhari Messe in Tokyo on December 18th~20th, 2020.

Official Hatsune Miku TikTok Account Launched, Prizes Available in Giveaway Challenge

An official Hatsune Miku account has been launched on the TikTok mobile app! To celebrate the launch of this account, Crypton Future Media is hosting a giveaway of official goods to Miku fans that participate in the Hatsune Miku giveaway challenge.

This giveaway will be open until September 1st, 2019 JST. Here’s what fans can win in the Hatsune Miku TikTok challenge!

One set of prizes includes figure goods such as the Adult Rin scale figure, the Racing Miku 2018 nendoroid, and Magical Mirai 2018 goods. The next set of prizes includes figma and nendoroid figures, along with clear files and can badges!

Giveaway Participation Details

The Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2019 in Osaka has finally come to a close, and the concert setlists for both days are now online! The event is also celebrated Megurine Luka’s 10th anniversary, and it’s the first to feature Luka as the MC, as she expressed her deep gratitude to the fans for the past 10 years, followed up by words of congratulations from Miku.

Hatsune Miku to Support LIGHT UP NIPPON HOKKAIDO With App Synchronizing Smartphones With Fireworks

Hatsune Miku will be collaborating with LIGHT UP NIPPON HOKKAIDO, Hokkaido’s yearly fireworks celebration to lift spirits and provide support from Japan’s earthquake disasters of 2011, and most recently the major eastern earthquake of 2018.

The event will take place at the National Takino Suzuran Hillside Park, south of the Sapporo prefecture region of Hokkaido. In this event, through use of the SONGLE smartphone app, attendees can enjoy synchronized images on their smartphones while enjoying the fireworks display! Special imagery will appear along with the fireworks and music, adding to the experience!

The main visual art for this collaboration was drawn by CHRIS, the same illustrator behind the Magical Mirai 2013 main visual artwork!

Tickets to attend the event are available via the official LIGHT UP NIPPON official website, which starts at 3240 Yen (or free for elementary school age children or younger). Tickets will be available until sold out!
