Taito Toys has announced a new set of Hatsune Miku prize figures landing in stores and arcades in Japan later this August!
Three new figures titled “Hatsune Miku: Birthday Figure 2019 ver.”, and based on Mogeratta’s Hatsune Miku 10th anniversary illustration, will be made available in celebration of Hatsune Miku’s 12th anniversary on August 31st, 2019.
Here’s the three versions names, and where you can find them:
– Original Version (Arcades everywhere and stores)
– Store Limited Version (Limited to SEGA stores)
– Taito Online Crane Version (Taito’s online crane service)

The celebration of Miku’s 10th anniversary is a celebration of many meanings for many of her fans around the world. One of the top focuses in this celebration is, of course, the music! Being a music software herself, music one of the cornerstones that helped make Hatsune Miku what she is today. We’d like to look at the special songs that Vocaloid artists contributed on the week of August 31st, the day of Miku’s 10th anniversary.
This list has a few special rules! First, the song has to have been uploaded to Nicovideo during the period of August 28th~September 3rd. This allows some room for Vocaloid producers that uploaded their songs a little early or late! Second, the song has to mention it was a 10th anniversary celebration song, either in the title, tags or description. Finally, songs will be ranked by average views per day, not total views! This gives a more accurate ranking of the fans favorite songs.

Crypton Future Media certainly seems excited to celebrate Hatsune Miku’s 10th anniversary later this year, and has just launched a new teaser page on their Peer Professional sharing site, Piapro.
The page doesn’t have much for now, just a timer ticking down until Hatsune Miku’s anniversary on August 31st, along with the phrase “10 years since the release on August 31, 2007… A new beginning for “HATSUNE MIKU” starts here.“. We can probably expect more updates as the anniversary date draws nearer.
