VOLKS Announces Online After-Event Sales For Dollfie Dream Sakura Miku & Hatsune Miku Reboot

VOLKS, the creator of the Dollfie Dream Hatsune Miku dolls, has announced there will be online after-event sales after the Dolls Party 41 event on April 28th! The online sales are announced to begin May 11th, 2019 JST. The Dollfie Dream Hatsune Miku information page has been updated to show new information on the dolls, and the event dates.

Both DD Sakura Miku and Hatsune Miku Reboot will use VOLKS’ newer “F3” type body frame, which allows even better flexibility and posing possibilities versus previous versions.

The precise time the sale starts is not yet announced, so be sure to watch closely for that announcement at a later date! Dollfie Dream Sakura Miku will be priced at 72,144 Yen, while Dollfie Dream Hatsune Miku Reboot will be priced at 71,064 Yen. Each one has their own details page as well.

In delightful news for Hatsune Miku fans and all the Dollfie Dream Hatsune Miku owners, VOLKS has just announced the Snow Miku 2019 outfit in celebration of the upcoming Snow Miku festival. Product details are bound to follow soon, but online preorder has been revealed to open from February 16th to March 3rd. Fans in Japan may reserve early at VOLKS’s Sapporo Showroom on February 9th~March 3rd. Stay tuned!

Two new outfits for Dollfie Dream Hatsune Miku will be open for preorder starting tomorrow: the SNOW MIKU 2018 Crane Priestess outfit set celebrating Snow Miku 2018, and the Vampire outfit set based on the visual by PEACH-PIT, the author of “Rozen Maiden”. Both outfits will be available for preorder starting tomorrow at 11:00 JST with shipping to begin in summer 2018.

With the addition of the two, Dollfie Dream Miku’s closet now amounts to ten outfits in total!

Hatsune Miku Dollfie Dream With Traditional Japanese Style Dress On Display in Kyoto, Japan

Starting today, VOLKS is exhibiting Hatsune Miku Dollfie Dream with a very special traditional Japanese outfit at an event at Kyoto Takashimaya, Japan. The exhibition, titled “ぼくらが日本を継いでいく-琳派・若冲・アニメ-” (no proper English translation available), or just “Rimpa” for short, is an event that pays homage to the “Rimpa” Japanese art style that was created in the 1700s.

Based on an illustration by artist KEI, the traditionally dressed Miku Dollfie will be on display at the venue until September 25th, and entry to the venue is free! There’s no word yet on if this outfit will be made available for order, but we’re sure many DD Miku owners would love it!
