Goodsmile Racing finished the final round of Super GT at Fuji Speedway in fourth position.
The team would qualify in 7th place for the start of the race on the previous day.

10 different teams from both classes were in contention for the championship. In the GT300 class, all eyes were on the #61 Subaru BRZ currently leading in its class while in GT500 it was all on the class’s reigning champions the #1 STANELY NSX.

But their chances for a back-to-back title would fade as the #55 ARTA NSX would out brake themselves and collide with the #1 STANLEY NSX forcing both cars out of the race.

The race would finish with the #36 au TOM’S Supra finishing the race as well as winning the championship in the GT500 class. While over in the GT300 class the #60 Syntium Supra would win the race and the #61 Subaru BRZ would win their first championship title finishing the race in 3rd after overtaking the #4 Hatsune Miku AMG for the podium on the final laps.

With 8 points scored on the final race, Goodsmile Racing has placed 10th in the drivers’ standings. A provisional calendar for the 2022 Super GT season has been announced at the end of the race.

The team placed in 19th position for the start of the race as they failed to qualify into the second qualifying session. But electrical troubles would follow the next day and the #4 Hatsune Miku AMG would start in last place from the pitlane.

The first half of the race involved two safety cars with the #22 RQ’s AMG and #48 Shokumou GT-R involved with big crashes on separate occasions. Fortunately, both of the drivers are okay after the crashes.

Goodsmile Racing finished in 23rd place at the fifth round of Super GT at Sportsland Sugo.
The team placed in 7th in the qualifying session prior to the race to determine their starting position for the race.

The race started with the #4 Hatsune Miku AMG getting a good start overtaking the #88 Granseed Lamborghini for 6th place and held on to that position until their scheduled pitstop.

After 83 laps of racing around the shortest track on the Super GT season, the #12 Calsonic GT-R wins the race in the GT500 class ending their streak of no wins since 2016, followed by the #61 Suburu BRZ winning the race in the GT300 class for the first time with their next-generation model. Goodsmile Racing finishes the fourth round of Super GT in third place at the Suzuka International Circuit.

Some changes were made to the livery of the #4 Hatsune Miku AMG with the Haregi version of the 2021 Racing Miku on the bonnet of the car since there will be no 10 Hours of Suzuka race this year. And a collaboration with the streetwear brand Anti Social Social Club decorated on the rear wing of the car.

The race started off with the leading GT500 car, the #64 Modulo NSX suffering a brake failure and crashing into the foam barriers bringing out the Full Course Yellow (FCY) and then a safety car shortly after.
