A prototype of the Hatsune Miku: Miku Expo Digital Stars Ver. 1/7 scale figure has made its first public appearance today at Miku Expo 2019 in Hong Kong!

Photos via @umaslim

The figure’s design is based on Tsurushima Tatsumi’s main visual art for the Miku Expo Digital Stars DJ live events in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Photos from fans has given us a nice view of the unpainted sculpture, as well as its DJ board styled base. She will be 23cm tall with the base.

Local preorders for the figure in Hong Kong will be open until September 12th, 2019 at the Youme Cafe and Manga Shop, and has a price of $1,099 HKD ($140 USD). Orders placed at these stores are expected to ship in Autumn 2019. However, they only ship to the following countries: Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, and Japan.

We’re hoping this figure will also be made available for an overseas release!
