If the recent tweets by Crypton Future Media’s staff are anything to go by, we can likely expect to hear about Hatsune Miku V4X’s software release very soon. CFM’s Wataru Sasaki says the main visual (artwork) for the software has pretty much been finalized, but may need some adjustment before release.

And for those wondering about another English voicebank, there is one planned for inclusion in the software, and this time it will be much more similar to the Japanese voicebank in terms of pitch and tone. This should hopefully satisfy many fans complaints and gripes with the original English software release from 2013.

Hatsune Miku’s V4X software was planned for a Summer 2016 release, so we can expect it any time now. Stay tuned for the big announcements coming soon!

It’s been less than a week since Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X has launched for the PlayStation Vita in Japan, and many fans in other countries have been asking “When will we get a localized version”? The answer to this question may be “Soon”, if this tweet posted earlier today by SEGA is anything to go by:

The above image is both weirdly random, and too specific and coincidental with timing. SEGA is all-too-familiar with the Cryptonloids and their favorite food items. The Negi (spring onions) stands for Hatsune Miku, the Orange and Bananas are for Kagamine Rin and Len, the Ice Cream is for Kaito, the Sake is for Meiko, and the Tuna is for Megurine Luka.

Think we’re crazy? We’ll find out soon enough!

pjdfX_teaseA new announcement from SEGA has revealed a new teaser website for what is presumed to be the next Hatsune Miku Project game title. The news comes via tweets from SEGA and other major game news sources.

Teaser page: http://neXt39.sega.jp/

The page itself shows the numbers “3939.00 / 3939”, with the “3939.00” being shown larger than the rest (the number 39 is often used as a pun reference towards Hatsune Miku). The page coding reveals that it’s a timer that will start ticking down once 3939 minutes are remaining until Hatsune Miku’s birthday on August 31st (JST). Additionally, the page title shows the letter “X” capitalized for the word “neXt”. Keep your eyes peeled for updates on August 31st (JST)!
