Hatsune Miku hasn’t been slowing down at all in recent years, and sometimes the amount of news in one month can exceed the amount of news I’d cover in a year when I first started writing for this site! It’s hard to keep up these days, so I’ll try to quickly summarize the major points of news from the first week of this month. I’ll try to follow with another roundup for week 2 shortly!

Snow Miku is expanding her sports support reach beyond just baseball and snowboarding, and is now the first digital ambassador to support Japan’s B.LEAGUE (Japan’s Basketball league)! The B.LEAGUE All-Star Game 2020 will be hosted in Hokkaido on January 18th 2020, and will be supported by Snow Miku. The Japan basketball league chairman Okawa Masaaki says the move supports the planned theme of “future city” for the event, in which a digital character would fit perfectly.

We’ve been wondering if these Hatsune Miku gaming accessories would ever see the light of day! It appears the Hatsune Miku gaming accessories by TSUKUMO and Thermaltake, seen at their “Hatsune Miku game room” exhibit at Niconico Chokaigi, will be coming to market!

TSUKUMO’s store magazine “99magazine” was recently updated to detail the newly announced laptop collaboration, but it also reveals that the Miku themed chair and PC case will be made available sometime soon. The magazine also shows silhouettes for headphones, keyboard and a mouse planned for a future announcement. The exact release details are still unclear, so keep watching for updates!

For live photos of these accessories in action, check out Thermaltake’s tweet below from their Niconico Chokaigi exhibit!
