Figma Racing Miku 2014: EV Mirai ver. Now Available For Preorder

We knew it was coming, but we didn’t know when, or think it would be so soon after the release of the previous version. Starting today, the Racing Miku 2014: EV Mirai ver. Figma and matching bike are available for preorder. Orders for both will remain open until March 4th at 9:00 PM JST.

The figma design is based on the original artwork by Koyama Shigeto, and comes with two expressions by default, and a helmet that can be used in place of the head. The Figma is priced at 5800 Yen. The bike, available separately, is named “ex:ride Spride.07 – TT-Zero 13 Kai”, has decals matching the official artworks by Oguchi (official illustrator for Racing Miku 2014). It is priced at 62,64 Yen. The scheduled shipment date for both is July 2015.

Both items will be available from various online retailers, but the GSC Online Shop includes an exclusive “Smiling & Looking Left” expression as a bonus. Check the official product pages below for a full gallery of images.

Snow Miku 2015 Festivities Now Open in Sapporo!

On February 1st, several Snow Miku attractions have started opening to the public in Sapporo. Among these is the Snow Miku ferris wheel, MIRAI.ST x Snow Miku cafe, and the Sapporo Factory Hall covered in Snow Miku decorations.

The Snow Miku Ferris Wheel takes place at the top of Norbesa buildiing, and will remain open up to March 31st. Each passengers will receive 2 exclusive free Snow Miku 2015 postcards upon paying for a ride (900 yen fee). A gallery of the Ferris Wheel can be found here thanks to Tokiko!

Moving on to the next attraction, the MIRAI.ST cafe will serve special menus under limited period, up to February 15th only. An autograph session with HachiojiP is also planned on February 6th at the location.

The Sapporo Factory Hall will be covered in decorations, from elevators to plant decorations in the theme of Snow Miku this year. Visit Snow Miku website for further information.

Good Smile Company has recently announced a Twitter campaign for a chance to win some Winter Wonder Festival exclusives. The The contest is available worldwide (excluding Japan), and will run from February 8th at 10:00 (JST) until February 9th at 24:00(JST).

How to Enter:

1. Participants must be at least 15 years of age.
2. Follow Maritan (@gsc_maritan) or Mamitan (@gsc_mamitan) on Twitter.
3. Retweet any of their tweets that include the hashtag “#WIN_WF_excl“.

Please note that you can not select your prize, as they will be chosen at random. The available prizes include: Nendoroid Snow Miku: Snow Bell Ver., Nendoroid Battleship Re-Class, figma Snow Miku: Snow Bell ver., figma Saber: Dress ver., and Nendoroid More: Dress-up Swimsuits.
