Thanks to some messages from Tokiko, I heard some early rumors going around about a possible Mikupa concert to be held in Sapporo in February. Well, it looks like she was right, as we just got an official announcement.
There will be four performances in total across two days in Sapporo-shi, Hokkaido, Japan. The first will be on February 9th at 1:00 PM JST, with the second at 6:00 PM on the same day. The third performance will be on February 10th at 12:00 PM JST, with the fourth and final performance at 5:00 PM on the same day. The ticket price for each showing will be 6300 Yen. There is no mentionable difference between all four shows.
The event description mentions the use of new songs based on the previous Hong Kong and Taiwan Mikupa events. They also mention the return of Meiko and Kaito for this event. There are currently no announced plans for live streaming. The full event details can be found on 5pb’s website.
As much as Tokiko would like me to visit and enjoy this event with her, I simply can’t afford it financially. I hope the people who can attend it have a great time.
EDIT: It looks like Tokyo MX has plans to rebroadcast the Mikupa in Taiwan concert on December 24th, Christmas Eve. If I’m reading correctly, there will be a backstory pre-show from 18:15~19:15 JST, and the concert rebroadcast will be from 19:15~21:00. This appears to be a Japan-only broadcast.
