With the Hatsune Miku Expo in Los Angeles and New York events less than a month away, we feel it’s important to remind fans once again that tickets for the concert events are still available! Using the ticket sites can be somewhat confusing, so ticket availability may still be widely unknown. Below is a list of tickets still available for both the Los Angeles and New York events, and how to get them.

Miku Expo LA Concert (Saturday)

Only VIP section tickets for Saturday of the event in Los Angeles are sold out. Tickets are still available for the Miku Love, Gold and Silver seating areas.

 
To get these seats, click “find tickets” below, then press “More Info” for Saturday (October 11th) on the AXS site. Lastly, just click “SELECT TICKETS” for the section just called “TICKETS”. International purchases are allowed!

Miku Expo LA Concert (Sunday)

Seats for the Sunday event are still available for all sections, so pick any seating area!

 
To get the regular tickets, follow the same steps shown above for Saturday, but be sure to click “More Info” for Sunday (October 12th).


 
VIP tickets are somewhat trickier. DO NOT click “buy offer” on the section called “The VIP Experience”, and DO NOT go to the normal “TICKETS” section! MAKE SURE TO CLICK “BUY OFFER” ON THE “MIKU LOVE VIP PACKAGE”! International purchases are accepted!

Miku Expo NY Concert (Friday & Saturday)

Available concert seats in New York are identical for both days. All VIP tickets are sold out, but the Miku Love and Gold seat areas are still available! Ticket purchases from this site are less confusing, so click the link below and take your pick. International purchases accepted!

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX
 
Following the announcements of Hatsune Miku Project Mirai Deluxe by SEGA at the Tokyo Game Show, the official game title for both the Western version is now called “Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX”, a game exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.

The game is being created as an improved version of the previous Project Mirai 2. The two major notable improvements compared to the previous version is the development of 3DPVs for ALL of the game’s music stages (some songs in Project Mirai 2 had 2D animated videos), as well as all new modules to accompany the new stages.

Three songs revealed so far that have received the remake treatment are Melancholic by Junky, Matryoshka by Hachi, and Kimi no Taion by KuwagataP.

Below are official screenshots from the TGS press release thanks to SEGA, and a few extras from Famitsu. As a reminder, the title is scheduled for a Spring 2015 release in Japan, and sometime in 2015 for Western countries.

Hatsune Miku to Appear on The Late Show with David Letterman on October 8th

Recent news releases by several major sources, and confirmed via the official Miku Expo twitter, has told us that Hatsune Miku is scheduled to make an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman on October 8th. The Late Show is a hugely popular variety talk show featuring David Letterman and Paul Shaffer on the CBS channel in the U.S.

For the appearance, Hatsune Miku will make a brief performance to show off the technology used to allow her to perform “live on stage” at concert events. The appearance is likely to help promote the Hatsune Miku Expo events in Los Angeles and New York, which will take place just a few days later.

How the U.S. audience will react to Hatsune Miku’s appearance is unknown, but we will find out in less than a month’s time.

Good Smile Company’s Hatsune Miku: Tell Your World Ver. 1/8 Scale Figure Now Available For Preorder

After two years of waiting, and several teases at the Wonder Festival events, the Hatsune Miku: Tell Your World ver. 1/8 scale figure is now available for preorder!

This particular figure’s design is based on the original jacket illustration for “Tell Your World EP” album. The song was also featured in an award winning Google Chrome advert in 2011.

Preorders from Good Smile Company’s online shop opened today, and will remain open until October 22nd at 9:00 PM JST. The price is set for 10,000 Yen ($94 USD), with an expected shipment period of May 2015. GSC shop preorders will also include an A3-size tapestry, featuring a high-res photo of the figure itself, as a bonus. The figure can be found from other online retailers like CDJapan and Amiami, but without the preorder bonus.

A special website has opened up for the preorder period, where fans can submit their “dream” to be featured on the box art for the figure. Simply submit a name up to 10 characters, and your “dream” message up to 100 characters. Don’t use any copyrighted quotes, however!

SEGA Reveals Hatsune Miku Project Mirai Remix Details Via Project Mirai Deluxe Announcement

Today is a day where fans anticipating the release of Project Mirai Remix for the West are finally getting some information about the game, although not from the source we expected. Despite being announced over 2 months earlier in the West, the details for “Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Remix” for the Nintendo 3DS were first released by SEGA of Japan yesterday, via an announcement for the Japanese version of the game titled “Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai Deluxe”. They are essentially the same game with two different titles.

While we wait for an official press release from SEGA of America, here’s what we do know about both games: All new 3D promotional and opening videos are being created for the new title, with the opening theme being composed by PinocchioP. The game will be exhibited at the Tokyo Game Show event that takes place between September 18th~21st JST. More details about the game itself are expected to be released in the October 2nd & 9th combo issue of Kadokawa’s Famitsu magazine releasing on Thursday.

The release date of Project Mirai Deluxe is announced for Spring 2015, while Project Mirai Remix is is still dated for an unknown period in 2015.

Lastly, SEGA is also due to announce an all new SEGA feat. Hatsune Miku Project game title at the Tokyo Game Show later this week. It is a new working title, unrelated to the news of Project Mirai Remix/Deluxe.

EDIT: It seems there was misinformation and confusion caused by lack of updated description info by both SEGA and Nicovideo. There is no additional game project, and Project Mirai Deluxe is indeed the all new project title.
