This week’s Famitsu gaming magazine is out, and the uploaded page scans show us the designs of the previously announced modules, as well as the total planned module count: Over 300! This shows that SEGA will no doubt be bringing back many modules from past Project Diva installments, and then some. This no doubt will compliment the song selection, which is said to be 50 total if you include medleys.

The attributes of the modules were also shown: Hatsune Miku V3 (NEUTRAL), Astray (COOL), Pumpkin Dream (CHAOS), Pizzicato (CUTE), and Ambivalence (BEAUTY). These attributes can assist you with the passing of songs/stages in the game’s new “Live Quest Mode”. Check out the scans below!

Some news leaks on a few game news blogs have revealed new details about the upcoming Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X title for the PS4 and PS Vita: Five additional new songs and modules. These include…

Songs

Modules

  • Hatsune Miku V3
  • Astray (by 456)
  • Pumpkin Dream
  • Pizzicato
  • Ambivalence

We already covered the details of the Live Quest Mode they also mentioned, but we’ll recap:

The clearing of Live Quest Mode requires collecting a certain amount of “voltage” (replaces the typical % completion bar), and different modules and accessories now have attributes to assist with clearing stages in this mode. Confirmed attributes and items/modules that have them are: Silent voice (COOL), Original (NEUTRAL), Judgement (CUTE), Honey Whip (BEAUTY), and Neko Neko Cape (CHAOS).

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X is scheduled for a Japan release on the PS Vita in March 2016, and the PlayStation 4 in Fall 2016.

The final results for the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X end credits submission have been announced. The submission comes in two themes: “To Miku and Friends, Thank You” / “From Miku and Friends, Thank You” and “Your Ideal Live (Concert)” with 100 illustrations each, making the competition this time much more intense in comparison to the past piapro contests.

The total submissions of 200 illustrations are now available on the results announcement page (as we cannot hold 200 illustrations here). As a reminder, the winners will rewarded with a gift from SEGA afterwards. Congratulations to all the winners!

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X will be available on PlayStation 4 in Fall 2016 and PS Vita in March 2016. The current updates include a full set list of producers and illustrators and the content updates from Tokyo Game Show 2015.

Previously announced in June, the official collaboration music video “B Who I Want 2 B” featuring Hatsune Miku and Amuro Namie is now available on YouTube!

The music video features the same Hatsune Miku design used in “Persona 4: Dancing all Night”, along with Namie’s own animated avatar. The song was produced by UK artist Sophie, and the lyrics were co-written by Mitchie M with the concept of “NEO TOKYO”, and theme of “Urban, Game and Fashion”. The collaboration helps to promote Namie’s new album “_genic”, which released in CD, DVD and Blu-Ray editions earlier in June.

The music video can be viewed below from Namie’s official YouTube channel! There is also a unique teaser video from NYLON JAPAN’s channel, and a lyric video for those who enjoy more karaoke-style videos.
