Are you a Hatsune Miku fan heading to Anime Expo 2016? While there isn’t much industry-wise going on this year for Vocaloid-related content, there’s still going to be some items of interest. Among these is the Hatsune Miku album “Zoushoku Gimi X≒MULTIPLIES” by HMO.

This album originally debuted in December 2012, and the limited edition package included a petite nendoroid of Hatsune Miku in an outfit matching the album theme. These limited copies sold out long ago, but will be making a comeback at Anime Expo via the Kawaii Kakkoii Sugoi booth!

The album will run $45 USD, and will have a limited stock. Get there if you can! Anime Expo takes place at the downtown Los Angeles convention center from July 1st~4th. Check exhibitor updates later via Anime Expo’s site for KKS’s booth number. Online sales at a later date are being considered.

The MikuFan.com staff will also be attending Anime Expo this year, but not as press. You will find us working at the booth owned by a certain figure-making company with an orange smiley-face logo. Feel free to say hello!

Premium BANDAI of Japan has announced a new Hatsune Miku plushie for their online premium store (and also what we believe to be the first BANDAI branded Miku plushie). The plushie is 47cm tall, and also comes with a pillow decorated as a music keyboard on one side, and a computer keyboard on the other. The pillow is 55cm wide, and serves a double purpose as an adorable accessory for the plushie, as well as a PC cushion for your wrists. You can even use them together for fun!

The plushie appears to be exclusive to BANDAI Japan’s online shop for the moment, but you may see the plushie pop up on other sites like Amiami, so keep your eyes peeled. She’s priced at 6,264 Yen, and is expected to release sometime in October 2016. Preorders are open at the official product page: http://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000105168/

Ck4Tbb7VAAE2eN-.jpg origSEGA has just announced a new PlayStation VR exclusive game titled “Hatsune Miku VR: Future Live”, and will release for the PlayStation 4 in Japan on October 13th, 2016. The appears to be largely based on SEGA’s 2015 E3 demo for the previously-named “Project Morpheus” VR set. Don’t confuse this release for the VR update for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X, “Future Live” is an all-new independent game for the PlayStation VR!

The game features some rhythm/motion mechanics, which is required to fill a voltage meter to get the crowd excited. If the goal amount is met, you will join Miku on-stage for a special performance! More info on this game should be revealed later.

Some of you may remember Hatsune Miku’s inclusion in Ubisoft’s dancing game “Just Dance 2016” with “Ievan Polkka”, and we expressed our own disappointment with the song choice. We had hoped that maybe if they brought Miku back again for the 2017 edition of the game, they’d use a more dance-oriented song song. This time she’s indeed back, with the song “Po Pi Po” composed by LamazeP. So it’s better for sure, but we can’t help but feel Ubisoft isn’t quite getting the idea.

Just Dance 2017 will launch October 2016 for the Wii U, Wii, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. Below is the official teaser video. (We’re betting 2018 will have Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya by DaniwellP, or World is Mine by Supercell… Any takers?)
