The first week’s sales of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F in North America may have been a resounding success, depending on how you want to look at the news. Reports of sales and attempted sales indicate that many locations sold out of their initial available stock of the game, and many preorders were also cancelled as a result.

It was also reported that some stores appeared to carry little or no stock of the game, so it’s unknown how much initial stock was made available. However, it’s still great news that the initial stock sold out. Until there’s more solid reports on the actual sales counts, how much good news this might be remains to be seen.

You can find physical copies for $49.99 from various game retailers, or buy it digitally from the Playstation Network. Additionally, the game launched in digital format for the European region on September 4th for €44.99 and £36.99 for the Playstation Network.
