This is likely the last major Snow Miku 2018 news update before the event officially begins in 2 weeks, so here’s what’s new!

Sapporo Factory Hall Exhibitor Update

Our last news update still had 3 pending booths for the exhibition at the Sapporo Factory Hall, but now we have info on those booths!

Booth #3: KarenT Presents Creators Market
After the success at Magical Mirai 2016 and 2017, the KarenT Creators Market is coming to Snow Miku 2018! Albit quite downsized due to the Sapporo Factory Hall’s much smaller size. You can meet a total of 6 well-known Vocaloid music artists on Saturday and Sunday, February 11th and 12th!

The popular point card EZOCA is collaborating with Snow Miku again this year!


 
Booth #10: SEGA Corporation Interactive
SEGA will be displaying a Snow Miku edition Jumbo Fuwafuwa plushie, as well as taking orders!

Chimney Square Snow Miku Daihatsu Exhibition
For the 4th year in a row, there will be a gathering of Snow Miku Daihatsu cars on display at Chimney Square, near Sapporo Factory Atrium. Additionally, the new Hatsune Miku Daihatsu Move Canbus will be showcased! *Image below is from Snow Miku 2017.

Official Goods

Another major Official Goods update has been posted, this time adding an additional 20 items. Some items are found at amusement centers as prizes, some at Snow Miku Sky Town, and others will be sold at participating venues or exhibition locations. Here’s what’s added: 3D Acrylic stand, a giant pillow, a blanket, acrylic key holder, can badges, microfiber cloths, premium cookie can, Snow Miku Dollfie Dream Snow Miku 2018 outfit, Japanese playing cards, bookmark, notebook, Rabbit Yukine plushie, rubber strap set, clear file sets, sunglasses, travel stickers, and metal charms.

The Snow Miku news update on January 12th was a big one, but we’ll make quick work to help summarize it for you! The Snow Miku 2018 event will take place during the Snow Festival in Sapporo, Japan between February 5th~12th.

The Goods

The official goods list for Snow Miku 2017 has more than doubled in size, and added the following items: A hoodie blanket, key holder, random charms, dish set, chopsticks, coin purse, clear poster, rubber band, can badges, assorted gacha prizes, phone cases, 5,000mAh mobile batteries, plushie, rubber strap, backpack, embroidered jacket, silicone watch, printed cream-filled cookies, printed rice crackers, Snow Miku model train set, and a special issue Snow Miku 2018 newspaper.

Various chat sessions, live DJ performances, and music lessons will be provided at the Live Stage events at the Sapporo Factory Atrium, located just across the street from the Sapporo Factory Hall. Here’s the announced schedule!

Also known as the creator of Singularity, the winning song from the Magical Mirai 2018 song contest. Enjoy Keisei’s live DJ performance!

4:00 PM – Hatsune Miku V4X Music Course feat. BIGHEAD
BIGHEAD, creator of well-known songs like Sharing the World and Story Rider, will be giving pointers on the use of Hatsune Miku V4X in music production! Also joining for assistance is Sonicwire’s Koizui Seimei.

Snow Miku 2017 street car design

Lastly, if you’d like to check out and ride the yearly Snow Miku wrapped street car, it will begin operation on November 27th and run daily until March 27th, 2018, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. There will be an early reveal exhibition on November 26th between 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM at the following location: 札幌市中央区南21条西16丁目

Concert Ticket Sales For Hatsune Miku Expo 2017 in Malaysia Begin October 8th

News of concert ticket sales for Hatsune Miku Expo 2017 in Malaysia were finally announced last night during a live Facebook broadcast (embedded below). Beginning October 8th at 10:00 AM, tickets will be available from myticket.asia in 4 different tiers:

  • VIP Rockzone – 439RM
  • Rockzone – 339RM
  • CAT 1 – 269RM
  • CAT 2 – 169RM

Miku Expo 2017 in Malaysia will take place Saturday, December 16th in Kuala Lumpur, at the Axiata Arena(Bukit Jalil) venue. Doors open at 6pm, and the concert starts at 8pm. The main visual art for this event was drawn by Malaysian artist FeiGiap.
