NewDays x Hatsune Miku Collaboration Returns to Promote Hokkaido in Natsukita 2019 Hokkaido Fair

NewDays x Hatsune Miku collaboration returns once again in the upcoming Natsukita 2019 Hokkaido Fair! The event is aimed to promote Hokkaido products with famous stores to deliver the charm of Hokkaido, with Hatsune Miku (and Snow Miku!) as the PR character. The collaboration includes limited goods, in-store videos and broadcasts, as well as an AR stamp rally to enjoy.

Starting from July 2nd, purchases over 800 yen at NewDays and NewDays KIOSK shops will net a limited edition clear file by the artist iXima on a first come, first served basis. From July 16th onward until July 29th, another design by the artist Kamogawa will be offered in place.

Furthermore, in celebration of SEGA feat. HATSUNE MIKU Project 10th anniversary, there’ll be special goods sold at the associated NewDays and BOOK EXPRESS stores, including 8 different types of can badges and acrylic key chains featuring modules from the game. Said stores will also have acrylic stand and muffler towel featuring visuals by iXima and Kamogawa on sale.

There’ll also be a special AR rally held via the anime AR tourism app “Butai Meguri”.

In this AR rally, there will be over 39 unique Hatsune Miku AR data based on Project DIVA modules to collect at 39 target stores. Additionally, collecting three or more AR data will also unlock a bonus recording of Miku. To enter the rally, simply take a photo with over 390 yen worth of products from the associated stores, follow NewDays on Twitter, then upload the image with hashtag “#ナツキタミク“. Winners will be decided via lottery, although creativity will also boost your chance of success!

Prizes include autographed Snow Miku acrylic panel by iXima (10 winners), Hatsune Miku original post card set (100 winners), and 2kg of Hokkaido Yumepirika rice (50 winners). Natsukita 2019 Hokkaido Fair will be held across all NewDays and NewDays KIOSK shops from July 2nd to 29th .

MIKU WITH YOU 2018 Officially Announced for China this October

The MIKU WITH YOU 2018 concert tour has officially been announced! While most of the details have been leaked in late August this year, the event will be held in October with the accompanying main visual by the artist YYB. Additionally, in celebration of the announcement, a limited edition MIKU WITH YOU 2018 trolley case has been announced for pre-sale on Tmall for 499 RMB (approximately 73.10 USD). More information will be available soon.

MIKU WITH YOU 2018 in Beijing and Shanghai Details Leaked

The MIKU WITH YOU concerts will be making a return once again this time in the two great cities of China, Beijing and Shanghai, according to the leaks from the Chinese government. The concerts will take place at the M Space venue on October 13th~14th and at the Shipyard 1862 venue on October 27th~28th for the Beijing and Shanghai performances, respectively.

In addition to the mentioned details, a concert setlist for Beijing performance is also out. The official announcement and main visual art will likely be shown soon. Below is the concert setlist for Beijing performance*.

*The setlist is likely subjected to future changes due to the missing entry in the list titled “Pick Me Up” by Demon, a winning entry from the “MIKU WITH YOU” song contest held earlier this year. Stay tuned for more info.

Hatsune Miku x KODO Taiko Special Live 2018 Presales Lottery Announced for April 4th

The Hatsune Miku x KODO Taiko Special Live 2018 official site receives an all new update today telling us the much anticipated ticket information. Presales lottery will be held on April 4th at 11:00 JST~April 11th at 11:00 JST, where general sales will begin from May 2nd at 10:00 JST onward. Seating options include S seats at 7,500 yen (tax included) and A seats at 6,500 yen (tax included).

In addition to the ticket details, a new note section is now live on the official site. The notes cover from the basics to everything such as prohibiting food and drinks inside the auditorium, warning the visitors to not queue in line a day before at midnight, asking the visitors to refrain from bringing in raw green onions and such. Additionally, an original penlight will be given to all the viewers attending the special live.

The live will be held at NHK Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo on June 2nd~3rd.

SNOW MIKU LIVE! 2018 Official Video Now Live on YouTube

The much anticipated SNOW MIKU LIVE! 2018 official video is now live on Youtube! This is the second SNOW MIKU LIVE! performance since 2015, and we’re most excited to see Snow Miku’s appearance returns in the show. Three encore songs for this live features Snow Miku appearances from different years, one of which is covered in this video.

The five-minutes concert footage features the theme song for this year “Round off the Square Earth” by TOKOTOKO (NishizawasanP) starring Snow Miku 2018 herself, while the second half features the song Rolling Girl by wowaka. The Rolling Girl performance utilizes a real-time 3DCG control system “R3” developed by Crypton Future Media allowing a level of interaction with the audience as seen in the video.
