Hatsune Miku VR’s First DLC Released, Five New Songs and New Stage

The first DLC has been released for the action rhythm game Hatsune Miku VR, adding 5 new songs and a new stage to the game. The game was initially released in March this year with 8 songs and 2 levels of difficulty each; with the addition of the first DLC, the list now goes up to 13 songs in total.

Hatsune Miku VR is an action rhythm game where Miku sings and dances to some of her most iconic songs as the player catch flying melodies with VR controllers. The latest version of the game now adds trading cards with gorgeous backgrounds for collection.

BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! x Hatsune Miku Collaboration to Launch August 24th

Hatsune Miku will be making her way into the popular idol-style rhythm game “BanG Dream! Girls Band Party” this August 24th. The collaboration will be bringing three Vocaloids songs to the game (one of which is a Kagamine Rin song) fully covered by the all-girls bands from the “BanG Dream!“ franchise. Also released today are the gameplay videos for two of the three collaboration songs now available on Youtube, with “Romeo and Cinderella” to follow soon. BanG Dream! Girls Band Party was published by Bushiroad and Craft Egg. The mobile game is available on both iOS and Android platforms.

Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2018 Official Album Announced, Releases On July 25th

The official album soundtrack for the upcoming Magical Mirai this year has been announced! This two-disc compilation album features ten tracks to be performed live at the concerts in August and September as well as two music videos. The tenth track is a bonus track, which will be a surprise reveal at later date. Featured on the album cover is this year’s main visual by the artist Mika Pikazo.

The album is priced at 2,100 yen, and will be released on July 25th, 2018. The track list is as follows:

Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2018 will be held at two locations in August and September: INTEX Osaka in Osaka on August 25th~26th and Makuhari Messe in Tokyo on August 31st~September 2nd. Currently, live ticket applications for overseas fans will be open until May 28th, while accommodation package applications will be open until May 15th.
