SEGA has released the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD demo for JP PlayStation Store starting today. The demo comes at a size of 525 MB, and features up to three playable songs: “Satisfaction”, “Raspberry Monster”, and “LOL -lots of laugh-“, as well as a tutorial featuring “Ievan Polkka”.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X was first launched for the PS Vita on March 24th with a record of 70,000 copies sold in the first four days after its release. The PS4 version, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD, is scheduled for release in Japan on August 25th.

The English version of the game will be released in North America under the title “Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X” for both PS Vita and PS4, with the release date set for August 30th. More info on the English ver. launch.

The Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X official English website has fully launched today. The site now fully displays the details carried over from the Japanese site in English, including: the introduction, Cloud Requests, music, modules, stages, concert editor, home, English trailers, and various associated game retailers.

The game is priced at $39.99 (CA $54.99) and $49.99 (CA $64.99) for the PS Vita and PlayStation 4 versions, respectively, and are currently available for preorders from various game retailers. Preorders will come with a preorder bonus of a free Hatsune Miku fabric pouch decorated with the 5 aura symbols from the game.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X will launch in North America on August 30th for PS Vita and PS4. The Japanese version of the game on PS4, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD, will launch around the same time on August 25th.

Sega has announced the Hatsune Miku collaboration model from Persona 4: Dancing All Night for release in Project DIVA X, Project DIVA Future Tone, and Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone. Each will has the module release at separate dates of their own.

The collaboration module will launch as DLC for Project DIVA X on June 23rd for PS Vita and on August 25th for PS4 in conjunction with the Project DIVA X HD’s release at a price of 300 yen.  The module will be included in the “Colorful Tone” pack, one of the two packs for Project DIVA Future Tone, which will release this month at the time of the game’s release via the Japanese PlayStation Network on June 23rd.

The module will also be available on Project DIVA Arcade Future Tone for 300 VP (Vocaloid Points).

The complete collection album (or what some may call the OST) of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X has released today! The album features 2 CDs containing all 30 tracks and medleys from the game. A limited edition version is also available, which includes a Blu-Ray with the game’s movies, and an acrylic smartphone stand!

61gNHepHNtL._SL1000_If you were hoping for another special Hatsune Miku controller to accompany the release of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X on the PlayStation 4, Hori will be releasing one at the same time as the Japanese game launch on August 25th!

To match the PS4 controls, this “mini” controller comes equipped with both a touch pad as well as analog sticks (previous PS3 edition controllers had only one or the other). The controller is designed specifically for those who want to enjoy the Diva series with more of an “arcade” feel. It is also speculated that this controller should work with the upcoming release of Project Diva Future Tone on PS4.
