Today’s highlight Hatsune Miku song and video for the day is KISS ME BABY!!! (emon Remix) by, of course. Emon! The song is bright, poppy, and sweet. The perfect kind of music style to fit the animation, which was created by MMD animator Thanks.PVC!

The video is published by ELEGUMI TOKYO, the creator of the original version of the song. Their official YouTube channel features other great songs and videos that are worth checking out. → https://youtube.com/elegumiTokyo/

The official theme song for Hatsune Miku Expo 2018 in the United States and Mexico, “Decade” by Dixie Flatline, now has a promotional video available in 4K resolution at 360 degrees from the official Hatsune Miku YouTube channel. Time to break out your 3D headsets or Google Cardboard and jump in to enjoy the experience!

Note that the wording for theme song mentions “United States and Mexico”, but not Europe. This gives the implication that Europe can expect their own unique theme song at a later date. Only time will tell!

Sometimes Vocaloid producers use the most unexpected and unconventional tools to create artworks or music videos. A recent tweet by Vocaloid producer Sasakure.UK reveals that the widely recognized music video for “Hello Planet” used art assets made almost entirely in Microsoft Paint.

The surprise announcement came due to news of Microsoft announcing that they plan to remove MS Paint from Windows 10 this Fall, after being included in every version of Windows for the past 32 years. After hearing the public feedback, Microsoft said they will provide the application again via Microsoft Store download.

Knowing this special detail behind the production of Hello Planet’s music video makes us further appreciate just how much work went into making such a memorable masterpiece. You can watch the music video from Sasakure.UK’s official channel below!
