Summer wear in Winter? Sure, why not! The previously teased Hatsune Miku and Megurine Luka Swimsuit version 1/12 scale figures from FREEing are now up for preorder starting today! They are the first of an all-new figure line called “S-Style”, which is short for “Small & Stylish”. They are aimed at being small, yet detailed and affordably priced.

A new series of figures that aim to create palm-sized figures that are both ‘SMALL & STYLISH’ – S-style! The first to join the series is Hatsune Miku wearing a striped bikini with a frilly bottom that really brings out her cute side!

While the figure is quite small, the sculpting of her characteristic twin tails and even the coloring of her eyes have been given the utmost attention to bring a high quality figure for a reasonable price. You can also display her together with the second in the series, Megurine Luka, to start your S-style collection!

The S-style series is just beginning, so be sure to look forward to more in the future!

Both figures are up for preorder on Good Smile Company’s online shop for 2,980 Yen ($25) each, with preorders closing on January 20th, 2016 at 9:00 PM JST. The expected shipment period is April 2016, just 4 months later! The figures can also be found on other sites at various prices.

The submission comes in two themes: “To Miku and Friends, Thank You” / “From Miku and Friends, Thank You” and “Your Ideal Live (Concert)” with 100 illustrations each, making the competition this time much more intense in comparison to the past piapro contests.

The total submissions of 200 illustrations are now available on the results announcement page (as we cannot hold 200 illustrations here). As a reminder, the winners will rewarded with a gift from SEGA afterwards. Congratulations to all the winners!

Some of you may remember our previous announcement of the first round of Hatsune Miku V3 merchandise offered by COSPA. They have just announced a second wave of new Miku V3 merch, and since Kaito and Meiko have both since gotten their own V3 release, they also have goods included in this announcement!

The list of items include full-graphic T-shirts, tapestries and straps. The delivery time varies between February and March 2015, depending on the item. COSPA will be releasing rubber keychain and strap sets of Crypton Future Media’s characters this October. All Cryptonloids are featured, which includes Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin and Len, Meiko and Kaito. Each character comes in two styles: A keychain for use on backpacks, handbags or key sets, or a strap that fits into the headphone jack of any mobile device.

Hatsune Miku: Keychain | Strap
Megurine Luka: Keychain | Strap
Kagamine Rin: Keychain | Strap
Kagamine Len: Keychain | Strap
Meiko: Keychain | Strap
Kaito: Keychain | Strap

The straps can be found on Amiami for just 648 Yen each, and their small size also makes them convenient to bundle with other orders without increasing the shipping costs (shipping for the strap alone would normally be more than the strap itself). They are available for preorder now, and scheduled to release sometime in late October.
