Hot on the trails of Hatsune Miku’s 2016 Japan tour comes the announcement of Hatsune Miku Expo in North America, in no less than 7 locations, with the final location still to be announced!

Confirmed locations and dates:

– April 23rd, 2016: Seattle, Washington at WaMu Theater
Door: 7:00pm Show: 8:00pm – ON SALE 11/20 @ 9:00 AM PST!

– April 30th, 2016: San Francisco, California at The Warfield

Nendoroid Plus: Hatsune Miku​ x CuteRody Pullback Cars is now available for preorder! Each Nendoroids come with pullback cars in form of the Rody horse, and stand at 35mm in height.

The famous toy horse created in Italy ‘Rody’ as well as the Nendoroid Plus series of Vocaloid characters are being released together as a collaboration project!

Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len and Megurine Luka are all available and each come with a CuteRody that matches up with their image color. The CuteRody horses are also made as pullback cars allowing you to give the Vocaloid characters an adorable ride as well!

The Nendoroids are sold separately: Hatsune Miku (Mint), Kagamine Rin (Lemon), Kagamine Len (Lemon), and Megurine Luka (Peach).  Upon release after pulling the cars backward, the cars can be propelled forward with the figures on the ride (hence the name pullback cars).

Preorders will close on December 9th at 21:00 JST, with release date announced for May 2016.

The Hatsune Miku: Mebae Ver. figure is now available for preorder! The figure derived its pose from the original illustration by mebae, and is known to be the first figure among the Hatsune Miku product line to solely based on an illustration.

A 1/7th scale figure of Hatsune Miku based on one of the works of popular illustrator mebae! The intricate curves and dynamic feeling of mebae’s illustration have all been faithfully preserved on the figure!

Her long winding twin-tailed hair, tutu, hair accessory and the lovely curves of her lean body have all been carefully sculpted to create a figure overflowing with charm. Enjoy the beautiful ballerina Miku as she takes the spotlight in your collection!

Preorders via Goodsmile’s Online Shop will come with an original poster with art by Mebae himself as a bonus. Furthermore, a rotatable view of the figure has been made available on the product site for full 360 degrees viewing.

Preorders will close on December 9th at 21:00 JST, with the release date set for June 2016.

Pixiv’s new recent Hatsune Miku art trend has been started once again by Piyo, the same Korean illustrator that came up with the popular “Marine Miku” design concept. The new design goes by the name “Winter Night Miku”, and styles Miku’s hair with silver and blue hues (similar to Snow Miku), and an outfit with a night sky theme showing the star constellations. It beautifully captures the essence of a peaceful winter night.

Sony MDR-1A Hatsune Miku Edition Preorders Announced For China

Sony of China has announced the Sony MDR-1A Hatsune Miku edition headphone for preorders starting on November 11th at 14:00 CST (China Standard Time) and will release on November 29th. The product is limited to 1,000 units only: 310 units for Sony China online store (exclusive for My Sony members), 340 units for Sony stores, and 350 units for Sony on Tmall.

The headphone was first teased in July this year, where Sony of China held a collaboration for fans to vote for their favorite designs out of the four provided by the officials. In regard to the Sony NWZ-A15 Hatsune Miku edition, preorders were announced for August 31st~October 25th and the release followed shortly after on September 7th.
