Snow Miku 2018 Design Collaboration Now Open, Here’s How To Enter! Submissions Close May 12th, 2017

Start warming up your artistic fingers, because the Snow Miku 2018 art design collaboration on Piapro is now open! Next year’s theme is an interesting one, and the collaboration is calling for designs with the theme of “Animals“! So maybe some Hokkaido wildlife can serve for some inspiration?

Your designs for Snow Miku and Rabbit Yukine will have a chance at being featured as the 2018 Snow Miku design for various collaborations and goods for next year’s Snow Miku events, including made into official nendoroids and figmas!

There’s some rule changes compared to last year, so make sure to follow these very closely, otherwise your entries will be invalid! Entries are open starting now, and will close on May 12th at 5:00 PM JST!

Hatsune Miku 10th Anniversary Main Visual Art Revealed, Official Anniversary Site Updated

If you go take a peek at the official Hatsune Miku 10th anniversary site, you’ll see the page has been completely updated with a new look and a new main anniversary artwork by KEI (pictured above), designed by Shimazaki Mari! KEI, best known among Miku fans as the original Hatsune Miku artist for her VOCALOID2 boxart, was undeniably the artist of choice for drawing the 10th anniversary artwork. Shimazaki also has past experience with Hatsune Miku as the designer behind the outfit of Racing Miku 2013.

I couldn’t have imagined it has already been 10 years, but before I knew it a decade had passed in the blink of an eye. I felt this special ocassion called for an outfit more beautiful than usual.

For the 10th anniversary, I designed a large ribbon on the base design of Hatsune Miku to give an anniversary feeling. Various appearances of Miku were born in the last 10 years, and the rainbow is to wish for many more shapes of Miku to appear in the future as we (the community) grow. Congratulations on the 10th anniversary!

Goodsmile Racing Wins First Race of 2017 Super GT Series

The first race of 2017 Super GT series has concluded with Goodsmile racing winning the first place at Okayama international circuit. Congratulations to the team, and the drivers Nobuteru Taniguchi (left) & Tatsuya Kataoka (right)! It’s been nearly two years since Goodsmile Racing won the first race of the season back in 2014, and we’re excited to see a good start for the team this year.

We also have a Racing Miku cheer illustration from Tony Taka, the official Racing Miku 2017 illustrator, for Goodsmile Racing. Fight, GSR!
