Snow Miku 2018 & 2019 Modules And Themes Released For Project Diva Future Tone

SEGA’s Japanese Project Diva team has announced that Extra Data (DLC) for the Snow Miku 2018 and 2019 modules for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone, and their respective PS4 themes, are now available for download!

There’s three different modules included in the DLC: Snow Miku 2019 (design by – L F -), and Snow Miku 2018 in hooded and non-hooded versions (design by Taichadon).

PS4 home screen themes are also included in this DLC! Check out the previews below.

The DLC is available starting today for the Japanese and U.S. versions of Project Diva Future Tone for 900 Yen/$6.99 USD (U.K. & EU region release pending). SEGA also announced plans to release these modules in Project Diva Arcade at a later date, and said to stay tuned for further update info.

It’s that time of the year; the time for Snow Miku and her rabbit partner Yukine design submission is finally here! Show off your artistic talent and take on this chance to have your designs as the stars of the next Snow Miku festival. This year we’re onto the theme of “Musical Instrument”!

Entries are open starting now until April 19th, 2019at 5:00 PM JST, with the result announcement to follow by the end of August 2019. Please follow the rules below closely otherwise your entries will be invalid!

Any applicants registered to piapro.jp, and agree to the application method and rules of entry.

File Format

File format: JPG or PNG
Color mode: RGB
Resolution: 350 dpi or more
License terms: Please post without licensing

Additional Remarks

Please draw Snow Miku and rabbit Yukine together as there is no separate submission for the two.
You can post any number of works made by yourself.

Art Submission Notes

  • Please use the 3-side Nendoroid template as much as possible. Download the high resolution template here! (and for yukine!)
  • Because of difficulty in capturing detailed expressions, please note that there may be adjustments and omissions in the direction of final design.
  • Please be absolutely sure to lock the art submission tag – “２０２０年雪ミク衣装” (without quotes).
  • Please be absolutely sure to submit your design without any licenses.  During the submission process, please choose the “Upload without licenses” checkbox at the bottom.
  • Please note that submissions may be trimmed and used. Please understand.

Hello, Miku and Snow Miku fans! It’s been a long time coming, but we’ve finally managed to sort through our collection of photos to bring you our photo report of Snow Miku 2019 and its various activities! This year was made extra special, largely in part to it also being the 10th anniversary of Snow Miku.

From the Snow Miku Sky Town, to the week-long festivities, up until the exhibition and concert weekend, we did our best to capture it all! Check out the gallery below!

Snow Miku Sky Town & Pronto Cafe

Located inside the New Chitose airport on the 4th floor, the Snow Miku Sky Town store is open year-round and carries various exclusive goods. The Pronto cafe next to this shop offers Snow Miku collaboration food dishes during the Snow Miku celebration week.

Snow Miku 2019: Day 0

I explored Odori Park in central Sapporo on Sunday, February 3rd, to catch early glimpses of the completed snow sculptures. I also saw the Snow Miku sculpture just as the ice crown was placed on her head, giving a rare look at its jewel-like transparency before it was snowed on the next day! Continue reading »

The Snow Miku 10th anniversary live performance “SNOW MIKU LIVE! 2019” has long concluded, and the setlist is finally available online! Held over February 9th~10th, the special performance features not only all the Snow Miku theme songs with the modules for each year, but also the very first appearance of Yukine.

Some performances were seen with a real-time 3DCG control system “R3” developed by Crypton Future Media enabling a new level of interaction with the audience. Check out the setlist below!

In commemoration of Snow Miku 10th anniversary, a new collaboration has just been launched between Snow Miku and Morinaga Milk promoting the “Honey and Snow” sweets in Hokkaido. The main visual of the collaboration is a gorgeous artwork by none other than the artist iXima, and can be found in the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper (Hokkaido branch only).
