BrotherP and Aono.Y Release Stunning 4K Resolution Video Featuring cosMo’s Song ‘０→∞への跳動’

The producers BrotherP and Aono.Y have finally released their new promotional video to the public in a highly impressive 4K resolution. If you’re unfamiliar with the term, that’s an eye-popping 3840×2160 resolution. The video was first revealed at the 2013 Vocaloid Cinema Party on 3/9 in celebration of the 5th “Miku Day” anniversary.

Directed by BrotherP, the video features the song and story from cosMo‘s Leaping from 0 to Eternity, and the animation was produced by Aono.Y. Aside from the stunning resolution, the video also features very high detail and animation quality. The model of choice for the PV was XS Miku, which adds a nice touch (definitely one of the cuter models). The video was not produced in MikuMikuDance, however.

The video uploaded to YouTube is a much lower 720p resolution to make viewing easier for normal users. But those who feel adventurous and have powerful machines can download the original 4K resolution video directly from Aono.Y’s website, located here. Enjoy the PV below!

Nexon Global Announces Hatsune Miku × Mabinogi Game Event

I simply could not get this one up fast enough. This is pretty big news since this event is being held in an online game by one of the largest Free to Play companies in the world. And to top it off, the event is being held on global servers.

From March 28th until April 23rd, players of Mabinogi will be able to purchase outfits based on several Cryptonloids, as well as win roulette bingo prizes. The events are detailed as such:

From March 28th to April 23rd, 2013, get the prefix title with your limited Character Card during the sale period.

From March 28th to April 9th, 2013, Females can get the costume and hair style of Hatsune Miku. Males can get the costume and hair style of Kaito.

From April 10th to April 23rd, 2013, Females can get the costume and hair style of Kagamine Rin. Males can get the costume and hair style of Kagamine Len.

From April 10th to April 23rd, 2013 visit Caravan Joe to start Roulette Bingo! You can get a Game Board by speaking with Caravan Joe. You get one Spin Token every 30 minutes, or by defeating monsters. Depending on where you land, you can get EXP, gold, or even special items! Be careful though! Racing Miku 2013 Nendoroid Preorders Now Available, Good Smile Racing Website Now Available in English

Good Smile Racing has opened up preorders for the the Racing Miku 2013 Nendoroid along with various sponsorship packages for the 2013 racing season.

For the moment, only the basic and Nendoroid sponsorship courses have been made available, but you can likely expect to hear a Figma course announced soon as well. The current available sponsorship courses are “Basic” (¥3,000), “A” (¥10,000) and “B” (¥30,000).

The Basic course awards you your own unique personal sponsor card, as well as a lanyard and ticket holder. There is no figure included with this course, however.

The course A package includes the Racing Miku Nendoroid, a tote bag emblazoned with an illustration of the 2013 Racing Miku design, and a teal-colored Good Smile Racing cap. It also includes the items from the basic course.

The course B package costs quite a fair bit more, and will likely fancy those die-hard fans with a little extra cash to spare. The package includes all of the above items, as well as a 2013 Racing Miku wallet and a waist bag.

Updated 3/22/1013: Courses C and D have been added to the Good Smile Racing online shop. Course C costs ¥7,000, and includes all items available from Course A, minus the GSR cap. Course D costs ¥50,000 and includes all items found in Course B, with the addition of a Racing Miku Microfleece Tapestry and a replica Hatsune Miku BMW racing-suit jersey in sizes M (U.S. S), L (U.S. M), XL (U.S. L) and XXL (U.S. XL).

The packages are available for international orders directly from Good Smile Racing’s online shop. The basic course will be open until the end of the season, but the Nendoroid courses will only be open until May 7th JST. Nendoroid shipments are expected for October 2013.

And to help keep international visitors informed of GSR’s staff and event news, an English version of the main site has recently been opened. Now you can easily browse and read info on the GSR team and race schedules.

The somewhat long-awaited full promotional video for kz(livetune)‘s song Redial has finally been uploaded for everyone to enjoy.

Spring is Almost Here!

You can definitely tell it’s almost Spring, at least where I’m from. The weather has been much warmer than normal for this time of year. But other than that, there’s some good news!

The Sakura Miku Nendoroid orders from 6 months ago have finally shipped out just a few days ago. While you’re waiting for your orders to arrive, you can watch Mikatan from Good Smile Company unbox one of these beautiful figures. The album Re:Dial by kz(livetune) is also set to ship out on the first day of Spring.

Lastly, the producer Ika (composer of the popular song Miku Miku Ni Shite Ageru) has released a new song just for the occasion titled “Cherry Blossom Banquet”, directed and animated by MasatakaP. Below is the video from Ika’s official channel. Subscribe if you enjoy his work!
