Just like they do every year, Good Smile Company has posted the rankings for the previous year’s most popular blog articles, and their top selling products. Hatsune Miku dominated the top 3 sales rankings in 2013, but she faced some serious competition in 2014, thanks to popular franchises such as Attack on Titan and Kantai Collection.

Despite the setbacks from the competition, Hatsune Miku managed to secure the #3 spot for 2014’s most popular GSC figure sales and blog post. She did not have a top ranking blog position in 2013. Credits for both wins in 2014 goes to the Nendoroid Snow Miku: Magical Snow Version. You can check the full rankings for yourself at Kahotan’s blog, where she also teases a nendoroid calendar that will be given out at the upcoming Winter Wonder Festival.

Starting today, the Snow Miku exhibition is now opened to visitors! The Snow Miku exhibition in Tokyo is an exhibition set in Nakano Broadway, a shopping complex in Tokyo, featuring various attractions: illustrations hall, Wall of Piapro, goods sales(view the catalog here), and an illustrator’s autograph session.

The autograph session will be held with the illustrator ちほ on January 17th at 14:00 JST, limiting to the first 100 people. The exhibition will remain opened up until January 20th. Thanks to twitter users @yusa_yusaani and @nandakaomo for the lovely photos!

You know Hatsune Miku’s presence worldwide is growing when her image is appearing on commercial vehicles. First there were Snow Miku trains in Thailand, then Snow Miku buses in Singapore. However these were all officially endorsed. It’s different when a fan decides to decorate their business vehicle just for fun.

A fan from Japan recently tweeted images of an itasha tow truck in Thailand, fully decorated in Hatsune Miku vinyls wraps. We can only see one side of the vehicle, but we see illustrations from at least five different illustrators, including iXima and Tony. I’m positive that any Hatsune Miku fan would be delighted to see this truck pull up to transport their car.

Earlier today, the popular Japanese gaming news and review site Game*Spark published their finalized list for the Top 20 most valuable Japanese games released overseas in 2014. We can see that Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f for PS Vita ranked #16, and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd for Vita/PS3 ranked #17 on the list.

This top 20 list was produced by following these rules:

• The game must have launched in North America in 2014, regardless of the Japan launch date.
• HD Remakes and DLC bundles excluded.
• Scores on metacritic.com (games with less than 10 reviews excluded).
• Multi-platform titles will have their scores averaged.

Given the sheer number of Japanese game titles that make their way overseas every year, it’s great to see the Project Diva franchise is fairing quite well with overseas gamers and reviewers. Congratulations to the SEGA of America and Japan staff!
